Remember to place the silicone mold on a baking sheet for easier positioning and removal. Mold Size: 10.9 x 7.2 x 1.3 inch. Cavity Size: 3 inch diameter x 1.3 inch. Volume: 6 x 4 oz, Total 24 oz. Many customers have found creative ways to use Freshware silicone molds (depending upon the shape) to create delicious homemade cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, quiches, breads, chocolates, candies, tarts, butters, caramels, ice cubes, frozen baby foods, gelatin, ice creams etc. Other customers use the molds in unique ways to create clays, resin casting, candles, soaps and more. All Freshware silicone products DO NOT have Chemical Coatings and are Pinch Test Passed. Our silicone mold handles temperature from -40 to +446 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to +230 degrees Celsius). Reusable for up to 3,000 uses, our molds save money by eliminating the need to ever buy disposable paper liners again. Safe to use in the Oven, Refrigerator, Freezer, Microwave, Steamer and Dishwasher. Top rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the product. What Is A Pinch Test? Cheaper brands often use plastic fillers in their silicone products, so it is not safe for high-temperature baking. Pinch and twist a bit of the silicone, if it turns white, it’s got fillers as 100% pure silicone will retain its color.

Silicone Rose Pan
This is a great pan! I have long preferred silicone bakeware to traditional metal because of easy release of baked goods and quick cleanup, but this was my first foray into whimsically moulded silicone pans. I had some concerns that the pan wouldn't release the cakes from the crevices (petals), but everything turned out perfectly! I am glad I bought the Freshware brand, as the pan is of very good quality (and I know my silicone bakeware), but was of the lowest price for this type of design (rose).Follow the instructions to oil the pans before first use, and you won't have any sticking issues thereafter, even without greasing. However, I do have one word of advice - and this is true for all moulded bakeware, not only silicone. Please use denser, sturdier batters. Liquidy cake batters bake too tender and crumbly to survive unmoulding, and it won't be the pan's fault if your baked goods break and crumble.

Passes the pinch test!
This is the first silicon product that I've bought off Amazon to have passed the pinch test. Freshware seems to emphasize heavily on that fact. It's mention in their manual , website, and on the stock image. The other 2, Chawoorim and Penacio, turned white when I twisted it.I'm taking off one star because it is not exactly the same as shown in the stock photo. The rose mold in the stock photo has supporting bars between the rose cups. Mine did not have them.I'm not sure what the purpose of the bars is. The molds does not collapsed on itself or deform in shape when the cups are filled up or when the batter is expanding in the toaster oven.My guess is that it just makes it easier to carry the mold around when it's filled up. The center does cave in when you lift the filled up mold by the edges since it's exactly rock solid.

Perfect for Shower Jellies!
Love these! Used them for my DIY show to make (LUSH-inspired) Shower Jellies. The design held up perfectly in the gelatin, so I can only imagine the detail for hard soaps or chocolates!Check out my tutorial on the DIY Shower Jellies here: [....]

Roses are red and yummy too!
I bought this to make red velvet cupcakes for my daughter. They came out looking so beautiful! Cleaning up was pretty easy too! This is the first time I have used silicone bakeware and I loved it! I did have a bit of trouble getting it into the oven, as it was pretty wobbly. I used a foil bake sheet below it to do that transfer and it did not affect my baking one bit. Very cute product.

Used for melt & pour soap
Really lovely silicone molds! Rinsed it well in mild lemon juice & hot water before first use, absolutely no weird odor before or after. (I've had some bad "food grade" silicone tray experience in the past with trays labelled as ice cube containers...) I used no cooking spray or lubricant and my first 'roses' came out effortlessly. The wells are larger than they appear in the pictures, and produced an impressive, weighty bar of soap. The petal & leaf details are perfect. Popped it in the dishwasher WITHOUT a soap packet, and it cleaned up beautifully. Very pleased, and promptly ordered a simple bar mold.

Buy more then one
This is awesome!! Like with all silicone products you will need a sturdy tray to go underneath but they work beautifully. It's such a versatile design it can be used for so many things in the kitchen other then baking. I made a compound butter and put it into this rose mold, it looked so good for a pile of herb butter. My only regret is not buying another one for lager batches of things but I had to test it out

Absolutely love this mold
Absolutely love this mold! I've had such a hard time trying to find large flower molds that actually look like flowers and bigger than the size of a quarter! The mold pops out the candle wax well and the design leaves a perfect rose candle. Only leaving out a star because the mold tears easily.

Does not work with gelatin!
I bought this mold to make lovely jello roses for my daughter's birthday party. In the description it says customers have used it with gelatin. The tray came in a plastic bag with NO instructions so I made some cherry jello as usual and poured it in the mold and placed it in the fridge for nearly six hours. The roses fell apart when trying to remove them. It was a disaster! I don't make candy or soap and I'm not convinced this would work for cake so now I'm wondering what I'm gonna do with this mold. I guess if you're making soap or candy it may work but although it says you can use it with gelatin don't purchase it just for that.

Freshware Molds are Great, but Not This One
I love Freshware molds I think I own most of them, which I use for soapmaking. This mold does not release well. The tops of the flower break off and chip while releasing.
