Anyone use this for a dog? I have an 11 pound shorky poo

I just bought one in NorthCarolina because I rented a bike while I was on vacation and didn’t have a basket for my 12 pound dog and this worked great. It is tapered on the top so it’s harder for them to jump out. So far it is perfect and the basket and straps are very sturdy.

Does the basket interfere with the functionality of the brake cables when used on a bike with handle brakes?

No it does not. My bikke has handle brakes....works fine,,No, it does not. My bike has handlle brakes and it is not an issue.

Does it attach to the bike securely? If you left it attached to your bike and unattended, could it be easily stolen?

The basket attaches to the bike securely if you tighten the straps...but it could be stolen easily because the straps are like belt buckles. I would suggest wrapping some wire near the straps around the handle bars if you're concerned about theft because it is an attractive basket.

How many beers can it hold?
