Worked great!
Ordered this replacement piece for my Velbon tripod. Just had to search the model on the head and this came right up. Appreciated the quick shipping option - had it delivered to our vacation condo for our beach pictures. If not for this item, there wouldn't have been a picture of all of us.

The part fits but it is black in color and not gold as depicted on the picture. Since my tripod is gold in color, it didn't match.

Rubber came off pretty quickly
The rubber came off pretty quickly (just like for the original release platform this one replaced). I can't recommend this.
