Omega Commercial 350 watt juicer
I originally had an Omega Centerfuge juicer for many years. It needed another blade and I was tired of it going off balance and not being able to juice many things before having to clean the bowl out. My hubby and I looked into another juicer and decided on the Vitamix which is great. Although I did miss the straight juice from a regular juicer so I bought this Omega juicer. I LOVE the fresh taste of juice. I made orange/pineapple juice for several days and was it yummy. We still use the vitamix for our lunch meal that we take to work with us. If you are looking for a juicer this is a good one and it is NOT make in china.EDIT:I guess I should include a little more detail on the machine itself. It runs great and I get lots of juice. Some people comment on the clean up. No juice machine is without some clean up. I just use a kitchen brush to scrub off the basket so that helps to make it faster. Othewise it is very simple to use. Enjoy. Another note: If the machine seems extra loud then it wasn't put together properly. Also you want to let the items process slowly and don't force them down the shoot to fast so you get the most juice out of them you can.

NOT the last juicer I will ever have to buy....
Bought this to replace the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus. The juice it produced was much better than the Breville. The pulp was noticeably more dry. It does produce a lot of foam though. While it is a powerful machine, its power and the location of the juice spout make it somewhat messy, otherwise actually cleaning the machine is farily easy and uncomplicated. .The main problem arose when it just stopped working less than 15 days after I got it. Three celery stalks, followed by half a cucumber and it just stopped juicing mid cucumber, never to turn back on. Seems like a machine labeled as commercial should be able to hold up just a little bit better than that. At least our old Breville JE98XL crapped out one month after the manufacturers warranty expired.Unlike the box says it will not be the last juicer I ever have to buy. I'd suggest you don't buy it either.

Great for beginners and the work place
Yes so far the juicer is AWESOME!! I got it for the office so everyone could be healthier...they ( and I ) all need it. If you are a serious juicer and a leafy green (kale and herbs etc) enthusiast like myself...GET OVER IT and go use your masticating one that you no doubt already have and cherish. This is an inexpensive, relatively quiet, super fast and easy to clean (get baking soda and a scotch guard hand held brush with soap dispenser on top for the basket) and fun, yes fun. This sucker takes heads of romaine lettuce, small apples, cucumbers and handfuls of carrots whole.. I dont even peel the lemons or limes. Prep work almost nil. In 30 mins I make enough juice for 5 people to drink (which is a lot) and clean up. Breville can suck it with their 1 year warranty. Omega got that 10 year like what. With 5 people going in on produce we save a good bit of money. The sugar addicts are a tough bunch... after a bit of a detox and attitude change.. they may come around.. buy and juice

It's great...WHEN IT WORKS!
I purchased the Omega BMJ330, the first time on February 26th. It was the new year, and I was so inspired by Joe Cross's "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead', I was ready to incorporate juicing. After a lot of research, I chose the Omega juicer, over the Breville. It was great! Easy to assemble ( just follow the diagram), fairly easy clean up, and GREAT juice. BUT, it stopped working after 2 weeks!! No warning...flipped the switch...and nothing. Amazon has excellent service and shipped a new one very quickly. But now, 6 months later, the motor burned out AGAIN. This time, it started smoking! I am using this juicer for personal use, not commercial. So it should hold up! I am beyond Amazon's replacement period, but it has a 10 year warranty. Contacted the manufacturer today, got a voicemail (not feeling good about that), and now I'll see if they stand by their warranty. The biggest thing about this is the major inconvenience and disruption! Lifestyle change is difficult enough without your major tools breaking on you, without warning, repeatedly. I have health goals, and don't have time for this!

Read this if you have had problems with this machine
Caveat: we have had this juicer only about a week, but we have used it multiple times a day since then. As many others have said, a lot of research is needed before investing in a juicer, and deciding which type (auger vs. centrifugal) is best for you is a big part of it. This centrifugal machine is very versatile - it seems to be able to juice almost anything. If you are hearing rattling or grinding; detecting a burned smell; or getting juice all over your counter via leaks in the machine: YOU DON'T HAVE IT PUT TOGETHER CORRECTLY. We have experienced each of these issues once over the past week. We always stop the machine right away, make sure there are no bits of pulp caught somewhere, carefully put the parts back and close the clips simultaneously, and the problem goes away. This juicer is quite finicky and takes some practice to make sure the parts are fitting together exactly right. We have even found that it makes a difference if you close the safety clips on the side at the same time versus closing first one and then the other.Arguably, a $200+ should be more foolproof. And certainly, if you feel that way then perhaps another machine would be right for you. I gave four stars instead of five because of this idiosyncrasy. But I must emphasize how much we LOVE this juicer. We can juice any greens (just put them in first), citrus with the peel, ginger, beets, carrots, celery, apples, pears, you name it. I like some pulp in my juice, and this machine gives that (more nutrition & fibre, so what's not to like?). My kids are even drinking fruit-veggie blends and enjoying them.I also was impressed with the ten-year warranty. Breville only guarantees their similar machine for one year, which didn't inspire my confidence.Whatever you decide to buy, go ahead and get juicing! I have cut my coffee consumption by 3/4 because the fresh juice first thing in the morning gives me so much energy, I don't need the caffeine.Wishing you all good health and enjoyable longevity!

disappointed
The juicer died on second day I used it. I put 2 apples through it and the motor died. The apples were first cored and cut in 4 pieces each so the machine was not over loaded. I have owned a Juiceman Jr. for 15 or 20 years and it still is juicing so this isn't my first rodeo. I read the reviews first and noticed a couple of them had the same thing happen. The rest of the reviews were positive so I took a chance. Omega does a good sales job but in my opinion they slipped up on the quality control. I am very thankful for Amazon's great return policy. I will not buy another Omega Juicer. Robert in Calgary.
