Lesson Learned - Quality Matters
Two daughters (ages 12/13) playing their second season of softball, both moved up to Senior level in Little League (1 with waiver). The coach recommend we update their bats and their gloves for size and speed of new level (you can see my review here on the new gloves here - Wilson A440 FP12.5 Fielder's Throw Fastpitch Glove (12.5-Inch)).He gave both the girls his daughter's Xeno 2014 - and bam. Instant difference, though the girls were also still adjusting to the speed of this new level. Of course he recommended this bat and immediately prepped me for the pricing. He told me the girls' current Easton bat was equivalent of a Wal-mart bat - which pissed me off a bit because I did not take that bat purchase lightly and bought it from the leading sporting goods store in the area. But I understood his point and words that, at this level, every little edge helps. So I invested and had the bat in time for their next practice as did another parent who heard the same thing. Our dugout now looks like it is entirely endorsed by Louisville Slugger/Xeno.I used the size chart from[...] and picked up the 31-inch which, based on the chart gives them room to grow. Most of the other, older girls on the team are using 32 and 33s.And I have to say - wow. Lesson learned. Our younger daughter (playing with the waiver) is already consistently cracking it into the outfield - no more routine infield shots for her. In fact, she has sent some fair and some foul to the fence (rolling, but still, to the fence in a game). What used to be hard-earned singles are now doubles and triples. Our other daughter is still adjusting to the pitching speed but also now more singles and even doubles now. Both of their confidence has shot up.Also picked up some power pads (Easton Power Pads), to help with shock (if any) and to identify their bat quickly in the dugout!

Xeno 2014
My daughter first became interested in the Xeno Louisville Slugger bats when we went to a College Softball game and they were used by the team.We bought her first one in 2012 and now the new Xeno 2014.She hit a triple and a double her first time out in a game and consistly gets great hits with this bat. When she got her bat in 2012 many people would comment about the glass breaking sound it made when she hit the ball. She didn't care because she always seemed to get great hits. She says the ball just seems to effortlessly fly when she connects. Now she smiles when she sees the number of girls using this bat.Whenever a new teamate or friend switches to the Xeno she just smiles andsays "I thought you didn't like the Xeno."She loves her bat.

... decided to bite the bullet and invest in a good bat for her
My daughter is in 12U fast pitch softball and after finally making the All-Star team I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a good bat for her. So this arrived on a Wednesday (LOVE 2 day prime shipping!) and her first tournament started on Friday night. Well...the first game my daughter used this my jaw dropped I couldn't believe how far she smashed it! Unfortunately the center fielder caught it so she didn't get a home run but she was still happy about her hit.So since then, my daughter has moved up from 8th in the line up to 4th and her confidence has soared. Completely worth eating rice and beans for a week haha. =D

GREAT Bat for high school girls, Adult Co-Ed
My 14 year old step-daughter's traveling softball Coach had recommended this bat, and after looking at numerous stores & websites found it here for under $250 including shipping. This was significantly less than other places, and the bat is great. After only 3 games, the bat started really making a difference in her hits, lots more power. I also brought it to my competitive Co-Ed Adult League, and all the guys and girls were ripping the ball and loved the bat. If you are on the fence about this bat, (pun intended, lol) I don't know if you will beat it for the price.

Makes the other girls jealous!
So far better than the 2013, even more pop. Good for coach pitch and beyond.Has similar characteristics to earlier models: sounds like glass breaking when the ball is hit, ball needs to be hit dead center of the ball and dead center of the sweet spot for max. distance, FLIES off the bat, hot out of the wrapper. Not heard of any of these models breaking yet.BatHoncho out of Austin, TX got it to me in 2 days, before the local sporting goods store could even order it!

Concerned with Louisville Slugger's 2014 FP Xeno
My daughter has played with a 2012 Louisville Slugger Xeno, and she enjoyed the performance of the bat. unfornately her 2012 Xeno broke in March, so I decided to purchase her the 2014 FP Xeno through Amazon. The 2014 Xeno bat was delivered to her, prior to a weekend tournament, and she was excited to have the "new" Xeno bat. Her first at bat with the 2014 Xeno and she made contact with the ball and her new 2014 Xeno snapped in half. Half of the Xeno bat was in her hands and the other half was flying at the 3rd baseman. The players were okay. However, my daughter was disappointed.

Broken Bat and Heart
For a bat I gave to my daughter for her birthday 18 days ago and we drove over a thousand miles to play in the Nationals tournament I have to say I am very, very disappointed because my daughters second at bat in the first game the bat broke into two pieces when she hit the ball, I just don't what else to say besides disappointed and upset.

2014 Louisville Slugger Xeno FP
Our daughter is a Senior this year and this is her 4th Xeno. She has accumulated a lot of hits through travel ball, high school and hitting practices, and the Xeno always delivers. She swings a slightly heavier and longer bat than some, and the 34-in/24-oz was difficult to find locally. I was pleased to find it available on Amazon and chose to have it shipped overnight. Again, couldn't be any more pleased.
