It's a very well made bag with several useful pockets. The front flap compartment is great for my thin wallet. A rear external zippered pocket will also serve this purpose. That pocket was not described nor pictured in the Amazon description but I saw on another web site.This was intended as a man bag to carry my stuff including a small tablet but I returned it for design problems. The shoulder strap is attached to middle of the back with angled gussets. Carried on the shoulder, it angles away from my body. Carried crossbody, it still slightly angles away.The front flap is held down with rather noisy velcro. The wall behind the flap is blank so no useful pockets like many other bags. You need to dig past the zipper of the front compartment to get to a pen. The compartment zippers are large which makes for good access but so large that if open, smaller items may fall out even with the flap closed.My Eagle Creek Trek Guide bag is more useful but is showing wear more quickly than expected.

Amazon doesn't show the carry straps in their photos. If they did, they would likely have less returns on this product. I returned it because the straps are placed horizontally on the back making this bag very awkward to carry as a shoulder sling. It's very small you cannot get anything larger than a smartphone and pair of sunglasses in it.
