Skechers Sport Men's Sparta 2.0 Training Sneaker

These are the best feeling shoe for my foot! Why the poor star rating then? Simple, they have a very short wear period... This is my second pair (Amazon replaced the first)... Both pairs The foam springs that support the sole quickly pop out leaving the shoe unwearable. Both pairs have only been lightly worn shoes yet, i had the same problem with both!If you are looking for short-term comfort (lots of support, feels like walking on air) then these may be for you, but don’t plan getting any milage out of them...

I've been wearing New Balance, but the shoes that I like are no longer available in anything but ugly all-white. Tried a different pair, didn't like them. Tried these Sketchers, and they have to go back. The main issue is these seem to be "high heel" shoes. The heel is higher than the toe, moreso than any sneaker I've ever owned. The result is that the balls of my feet are worn out at the end of the day from them supporting the bulk of my weight, rather than it being spread out over the whole foot like most shoes. Also, I typically buy 2E because I have a very high arch/instep and need more material, which wide shoes tend to provide, so I got "wide" on this shoe. Not close to wide enough. There are no wider options, even if I had liked them otherwise.As someone else said, too, they collect gravel if you walk on any kind of trail. Track that into your house, and your floors will get all scratched up.On the plus side, I kinda like the way they look.

Its been a while since I have bought these but I figured I'd wait a while longer until we had put some wear and tear on them.I bought these for my boyfriend as new work shoes since he is always on his feet. He had tried them on in the store and loved the shoes but not the price. Figured these would be the same and purchased from Amazon. The shoes fit the same and he loved them until....the whole entire left toe blew out. I have to admit, he's on his feet constantly and goes through shoes every year or so but within the first 2 months, the ENTIRE toe ripped open!! Its insane that no other part of the shoe was damaged or faulty but the toe. He's had Nike sneakers for 4 years and those still are all in one piece.Be cautious when buying this from amazon. Of course, he had already used the shoes and was past the warranty time, but geez. They were worthless after that.Certainly won't be buying these or anything from this shop again.

I Had these sneakers for almost a week before I tried them on. That’s how confident I am that the size I order will fit as expected. I was right.These Skechers are solid with consistent quality....something that was starting to go down hill a few years ago. They are comfortable, look sporty without being too flashy, and it was a great purchase at a fair price.Skechers in my size almost always fit as expected, so it makes me hesitant to try a different brand without going to a shoe store. And don’t I hate that, being asked if they can help you half a dozen times. No, you can’t help me if you don’t have something I like in my size, which is almost always the case.Recommended.

Always trying to find the “perfect” (for me) walking sneaker. Ordered a pair of these in 12 2E and also a pair of another brand. Took a walk in both and kept only these Skechers Sparta 2.0 Trainers. I bought three more pair in different colors and then a white pair...all within a week. Now I can rotate through these five and forget about sneaker hassles for the foreseeable future. I like the heel cushioning, the slightly “nubby” feel of the inner sole on the ball of my foot and the overall fact that I can stride out in comfort for extended walks. I have neutral foot pronation. To paraphrase the old Packard automobile ads, “Ask the man who owns a pair”. That said, not too many things are as subjective as sneaker comfort. If you find the right pair, buy several at once - before the next year’s version changes things for the worse.

I've been a fan of Sketchers memory foam shoes for several years. I purchased two pairs of these. The heel is surprisingly high up compared to the rest of the foot - the toe end. It felt strange at first, but I thought perhaps it was good for my posture! However, after wearing a few times I started to notice tight muscles from my heal right up to the top of my leg. This has not gone away after several weeks. After I played a court game (in other shoes) my knee swelled and has not recovered after three weeks. It's possible I had some other unknown injury, but I believe it to be a result of wearing these "high heel" Sketchers that started all these problems. I still love Sketchers, but too bad about their high-heel design. Another way of expressing this is that the toes and front of the foot are only a few mm above the ground, whereas the heel is much higher.

I hope they never discontinue this. I bought these through Sears before they closed down all the ones in travel distance. The closest Sketchers outlet is now about 50 miles. I had a great experience with the ones I bought at Sears, so I went to the outlet - close but no prize. On line I came.This is a great tennis shoe/sneaker. The size was as expected. I ordered the same size I normally wear in a shoe size and they fit fine.The first pair I used doing rough yard work, including shoveling piles of mulch and dirt and planting trees besides the run of the mill stuff. They lasted a bit more than a year. For what I was doing, that was impressive! The second pair I got, I used for the gym because of the comfort. They just give my toes lots of room to be comfortable and cushion my feet with the memory foam making them really great to wear. I wore them to a state fair and walked in them all day - great!

....in the toe box.Seems to be well-made plus they were half-priced compared to some of the other Skechers sneakers advertised here. Somewhat heavy shoe but doesn't bother me at all for the light duty use they're seeing, meaning walking & standing. For some reason the 10 2E size runs a bit larger than expected. Next time I'll get a 1/2 size smaller, in the wide width that is.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Top usual quality from Skechers will be purchasing another pair for when these have had their day.

Took these for a 3km walk...bad idea...first was the right side of my foot was rubbing against something inside the shoe, just below the pinky toe along the side...completed my walk but my foot felt terrible...took them again for another 3km the next day...developed a nasty case of Achilles tendonitis...hopefully I recover quick, but never will I buy this brand of shoe again.

Excellent Shoe. Insole can be removed (for orthotics) if done right away. Do not wear shoe if planning to remove insole, else glue will permanently stick to sole resulting in tear-fest to get out sole. I find the shoe very comfortable and do not have a wide foot, if that helps.

the shoes are well manufactured, they look and feel good, but the right shoe feels saller than the left shoe,.. i well stretch the right shoe tonight
