Parrot MKi9000 Hands Car Kit

I have had the parrot MKi9000 for about 6 months now and it works wonderfully. The voice recognition works well, (although I'll admit a few times it called the wrong person but it's rare). I was having some trouble with my Bluetooth audio. It would cut off after each song and I would have to reconnect my phone to get music playing again BUT I just updated the software and the thing works like a champ now. I just took a 9 hour road trip and the thing didn't cut out once. A few people I have spoken to have said that it is harder for them to hear me when I am using it, that could be because I was on the free way and there is a lot more road noise? But other than that I think it works great!

A friend recommended Parrot for its outstanding voice quality, "plug and play" installation with my Smart Car sound system (no need to splice wires), and compatibility with my iPhone (this unit even includes an iPhone/iPod charging/sync cable.) Finally, Parrot provides an easy way to update the software on the unit.Voice quality and noise cancellation is excellent for both the speaker and the listener. The iPod controls also worked well. Unfortunately, I experienced some a couple of "gotchas" that preclude giving this unit my unqualified recommendation.First "gotcha": The unit is definitely NOT "plug and play" with my Smart car. I had to use a voltmeter to find and spice into the 12 volt "always on" and "ignition on" connections. Second "gotcha": the advertised "voice dial" feature does not work, despite updates to the Parrot software and several calls to Parrot technical support. I know my contact list but I cannot understand many of the names it pronounces due to heavily accented voice synthesization.It has excellent sound quality and noise cancellation at both ends of the conversation. I also liked the wireless RF remote control that can be mounted on the steering wheel rim or anywhere else on the dashboard or console. The included iPhone docking/charger cable and work well with my iPhone and allows me control play from the RF remote. There is also an aux line-in and USB that should support most other MP3 type devices.Would recommend professional installation as the advertised plug and play connection for my radio type was wired incorrectly for three of the leads. PROS: Voice quality/noise cancellation Price iPhone/iPod/MP3 connectivity iPhone phone book synchronizationCONS: installation (3 leads wired incorrectly) voice dial functions do not work synthesized voice difficult to understand

Ho acquistato questo dispositivo da installare nella Nuova Fiat Panda.Il prodotto funziona benissimo, testato sia con iPhone che Android.Il doppio microfono permette di avere una buona qualità di audio, gli interlocutori non avvertiranno particolari rumori di fondo o fruscii, e questo è un'ottimo risultato.Una volta accoppiato, nelle impostazioni ho subito attivato l'impostazione dual affinché due telefoni possano essere agganciati contemporaneamente.Il microfono è stato posto nella zona nera attorno allo specchietto: non si vede affatto.La centralina, invece, è stata montata sotto al sedile lato passeggero.Dall'apertura nella zona centrale, sotto al cambio, escono i due cavi per l'AUX e l'USB.Al momento della ricezione di una chiamata si può rispondere col tasto verde oppure dicendo "rispondere".Che dire, ne sono assolutamente soddisfatto. Ottimo prodotto di qualità, non ho trovato nessun difetto.Importante:sia su iOS che su Android ho disattivato nelle impostazioni bluetooth la voce sincronizza contatti: in questo modo, premendo una volta il tasto "verde", il compito di effettuare chiamate ecc non sarà più preso in carico dal Parrot, ma sarà attivato Siri (o l'ok Google, l'equivalente in Android).Perché fare ciò?1. Siri/Google capiscono meglio, con qualsiasi tipo di frase ci si riferisca loro.2. Attivando l'assistente vocale del telefono al posto di quello del Parrot puoi chiedergli di leggerti i messaggi, le mail, WhatsApp, inviare nuovi sms, mail, whatsapp, chiedere di portarti in un posto (avviando quindi il navigatore), chiedere di ascoltare un determinato brano.

Je cherchais (pour ma 308) un kit mains libres simple d'utilisation et avec lequel je pourrai écouter ma musique avec mon iphone en bluetooth. J'ai vraiement été étonné par la qualité du son, vraiment très bon. La reconnaissance vocale marche bien, et il vous annonce qui est en train de vous appelez.La télécommande sans fil est vraiment discrète, les micros aussi d'ailleurs. L'installation n'est pas compliquée, il suffit juste d'acheter l'adaptateur ISO si besoin, est tout se branche tout seul. Vous passerez certainement plus de temps à déclipser votre autoradio qu'à installer le kit. Vraiment de très bonnes qualité.

This is the third unit that I have purchased and installed in our vehicles. (BMW E46 - needed harness adapter, Zafira and Isuzu - no adapters required)The installation and configuration is extremely simple; gaining access to the space in the dash being the most challenging part.Once hooked up and turned on for the first time it is fully functional in minutes.All of our units are paired with iPhones and have not given a moment's trouble. Apart from the obvious hands-free calling function, I use mine extensively for listening to content on my iPhone via bluetooth.The voice recognition works acceptably well provided you speak in a manner that is 'compatible' with it. (i.e.. enunciate, speak slowly, use it's pronunciation of names; for example, it pronounces mom so that it rhymes with home).The 'say accept or reject' to answer/decline incoming calls is quite useful and works well.The software updates, via USB dongle, have been simple and successful every time.It may not be the most feature rich unit available but after the good service I received from the first one I purchased I decided not to mess with a satisfactory, working solution.It took me ages to decide on which unit to choose so hopefully my feedback will be of use to at least 1 person in a similar position :-)

Ein absolutes Multitalent!!! Total begeistert!! Schlauer Shop24 e.K. hat die Anlage verkauft, auch hier sehr zufrieden!Also ich nutze die MKI9000 in meinem Suzuki Swift Bj. 2008 in Kombination mit meinemSamsung Galaxy S Plus, das funktioniert hervorragend!Ich kann nun über die Anlage telefonieren, Musik vom Handy abspielen (diese über die Fernbedienung der Parrot auch bedienen), und der Absolute Gau ist das auch mein Navi auf dem Handy, jetzt über mein Radio spricht. Egal ob ich über mein Radio Musik höre oder über das Handy, die Musik wird einfach kurz unterbrochen, wenn das Navi etwas zu sagen hat. Die Spachwahl der Anlage funktioniert auch einwandfrei, spricht halt nur manche Dinge etwas anders aus. Mann kann über die Fernbedienung die Anlage alles ganz leicht steuern, das Telefonbuch wird nach der ersten Verbindung direkt synchronisiert, perfekt! Mich kann man beim Telefonieren sehr gut verstehen selbst beim Rauchen wenn das Fenster auf ist. Der Ton wird bei mir im Swift über alle Lautsprecher wiedergegeben!!!Ein Display ist nicht notwendig!Der Einbau war sehr einfach, hierzu kauft man am besten ein passendes Audio2 Car Kabel, dies bekommt man bei Handytreff, dort gibt es einen Konfigurator bzw. man kann auch bei der Hotline anrufen, die helfen super weiter. Handytreff wurde mir direkt von einem Parrot Mitarbeiter empfohlen. Das original Mitgelieferte Kabel der Parrot benötigt man dann nicht!!!Der Suzuki Swift ist hinter dem Armaturenbrett sehr einbaufreundlich, sehr viel Platz. Das Radio mussten wir nicht ausbauen!1. Handschufach abbauen2. Original Radiokabel rausziehen (Radiocode wird nachher nicht benötigt)3. Audio2 Carkabel vorbereiten, Mute Steckerchen am Kabel vorher mit Isolierband wegkleben, wird nicht benötigt. Am besten die Plastikabdeckung der Sicherung am Kabel mit Isolierband abkleben, fällt gern ab.4. Audio 2 Car kabel ins Radio stecken, mittig hinter dem Radio nach unten füren, dann kann die Parrotanlage nachher mit Doppelseitigem Klebeband von hinten auf das Mittelfach unter dem Radio geklebt werden. Dann mit Parrotanlage verbinden.5. Jetzt eine Position für die Lautsprecher suchen. Wir haben das Mikro links ganz oben an der A-Säule (Fahrerseite) an die Fensterscheibe geklebt.6. Um das Kabel zu verlegen einmal die Verkleidung der A-Säule abbauen, dafür das Airbag Zeichen rausholen, dahinter die Schraube lösen und Verkleidung abziehen. Dann das Mirkro ankleben und das Kabel an der A-Säule herunterführen unterm Lenkrad bis zu Parratanlange verlegen. Am besten an anderen Kabeln mit Isolierband befestigen, dann kann nachher nichts klappern.7. Abdeckung A-Säule wieder befestigen.8. Nun den Mitgelieferten Kabelsatz für Ipod, USB... über dem Handschuhfach unter dem Armaturenbrett befestigen, dann kann man zusätzliche Geräte nachher im Handschuhfach ablegen. Das Kabel auch wieder bis zur Parrotanlage in die Mitte führen.9. Nun wenn alle Kabel verstaut sind, kann man die Anlage auf das Ablagefach von hinten mit doppelseitigen Klebeband befestigen, dann kommt man nachher auch immer wieder an die Anschlüsse dran.10. Los geht's, Bluetooth an, verbinden einrichten, fertig!!Ich hoffe ich konnte euch mit meiner Bewertung weiterhelfen und hoffe ihr habt genauso viel Spaß mit der Anlage wie ich!

I had this hands free for around 10 months now and I never had a problem with it not working. It is a very good option if your car is a bit older that doesn't come with the Bluetooth option. I wanted this not just for making calls but also so I can listen to the music from my phone hence I went with this model without the additional screen because I can see what is playing on my phone. Call quality is good, people can hear me no problem as I can too. I find it much better sound call quality than the £30 clip on wiser hands free I had before. I listen to the music through the Spotify and the quality is pretty good. Also handy to make calls from the control joystick since it syncs with the phones address book. It's not getting 5 stars because voice dialling doesn't work for me it never got the contact name right once. Also if you want to play music from the USB stick it would only play one folder you can't chose. You have to put all the songs in root folder and can't pick what to play. Other than that it's very nice unit mutes my radio or sat nav from the phone when you get an incoming call. I'm planning to buy another one for my wife's car as well.
