My Hoover FloorMate stops sucking up water. I was going to get rid of it and purchase another one. Replacing a squeegee was so much cheaper and easier to fix than the cost to replace it. It's about 10 or 15 years old and works like brand new again

This part was easy to replace and fits our H2800 model Hoover.

This critical replacement part made our Hoover Floor Mate great again (MHGA)! This allows water to be sucked up from the floor, rather than simply sprayed all over it due to the warn out Squeegee. Now our tiles are clean again!

WHY did I want so long to replace my Squeegee?? It's incredible how much of a difference the new squeegee has made in my floor cleaner---it's like it's brand new again! I had noticed that the floor wasn't getting as clean as it used to and that it was staying damper than it used to stay. And I noticed that the edges of my original squeegee were a little raggedy. But I waited until a chunk of the flexible part of the squeegee had torn off before ordering a replacement. Doh! :o\If you have this machine, Don't wait! Order a spare NOW, even long before you need it. You'll feel like you have a brand new machine again after you install this new squeegee---which is very easy to install, by the way.

This little squeegee on the Floormate is key to its efficiency. The old squeegee lasted over 15 years but had deteriorated where it could not vacuum wet or dry. This little fix made my vac work like new!
