Pleasantly surprised
I read thru all of these reviews before I purchased this dresser, so I knew what I could have gotten myself into. The packages arrived ONLY 2 days after I ordered , in great condition (I saw that many others had damaged packages) which was a surprise. The tracker said it was supposed to arrive 10 days after this.PROS-The drawers are not just glued together, but they are actually bolted together as well.- The thin backing of the dresser is reinforced by 6 little corner protectors, which make sure it doesn't buckle outward.- The drawer bottom is also reinforced underneath to prevent the drawer from collapsing . However they are thin, so don't expect to put too much in them. This should be plenty sturdy for my clothes and towels.-Drawers are attached to sliding tracks . They move nicely- I can totally add a handle onto the drawers if I wantCONS- There are NO EXTRA PIECES!! Be sure to organize small parts and keep them in a good location.- These parts are not easily replaceable , I would say about 1/2 of the parts are not available at other stores , I'm pretty sure if I would have lost one of the main screws , id be screwed. But I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm no expert.-Back of dresser is very thin. I'm a little worried about setting my 60" TV on it. I think I'm going to order another matching dresser and set it between the two.- How could I forget? THE INSTRUCTIONS HAVE NO WORDS!! At first I was overwhelmed but after seeing where all the little parts go, everything comes together easily.THERE IS A VIDEO INSTRUCTION GUIDE LINK on the instructions. I didn't see that until I was done tho.

Definitely recommend this item! Helpful Advice and tips in Comments
Product value= 5-6 starAssembly = 4.75 starsBuild time= 1 hour (give or take 10 minutes)Tools needed = 31.Phillips screw driver.2.Maybe a power screw driver with phillips head bit... !!!Set chuck to very loose to not over torque, strip or bury the screws!!!!3.Soft mallet or small hammer.Instructions are pictures only. They do NOT identify the color of the pieces so pay close attention. The only text is describing part numbers and amounts needed per stage of build. Many people complain about assembly and instructions on this item. You do need to pay very close attention to some fine details but the instructions are thorough. I personally had no issues with assembly but for a single screw.Issues I had: All minor = 41.Throw away the glue they give you. It's thin like white water and ran EVERYWHERE. Soapy water and rag for easy clean up. Keep a damp rag nearby. Suggested solution...no glue or wood glue.2. I had my torque set to high on my power driver. I torqued a tension nut so hard it busted the wood. I did not need to reach out to have it replaced as the part had some wood pins too back up the screw and keep it in place. It was also on the inside so you wont see the damage.3. They have odd little spacer things to keep the backing on the dresser and drawers. You may need to back out the screw a bit to get them to seat right....this is also the part were you'd definitely benefit from the power driver as they are self tapping screws.4. The drawer tracks stick a bit and needed some coaxing to get them to fully extent. Once fully extended they work very well and seem to get easier to slide.

Very good value!
The value of this dresser is a "5", but I had frustrating issues with the included hardware. The hardware is not shipped in separate packages, so you have to sort it first (in the past, I have used muffin tins to keep everything separated and reduce the odds of losing something, which I did for this project). There were zero extras, so don't lose anything, and don't strip out any of them. One of the cam locks broke while I was tightening it. They normally turn until reaching a stop, but this one just snapped before I got to that point. I do not believe I asserted excessive force. And, the metal glides attach to the drawers with a screw that goes through a hole in the drawer side and threads right in to the slide, which worked perfectly for nine of them, but one of them stripped out. These are not hardware items you go to the hardware store and replace, which is another reason to be disappointed that there were no extras included. I have been assembling flat box furniture for about four decades, and I have used these types of fasteners before, and not had these issues.Other than this minor complaint, the quality overall is excellent for a product in this price range. I have assembled stuff that was considerably more money and been less satisfied. Plus, a lot of stuff in this price range is squared up with a cardboard backing that you attach with small nails. The back of this one is pressed board and squares up with screwed in plastic wedges...clever, and very much like "real" furniture. If it were not for thehardware issues, I would have rated this dresser as a "5" for sure. You can easily spend this much money on something different and not get near the same quality. Just be careful with the fasteners, OK?
