Drone Home -- First Ever Game With a Real, Flying Drone -- Great, Family Fun! -- For 2-4 Players -- Ages 8+

Most games the kids play and get over quickly. Not this one.It keeps the whole family competitively entertained.My only complaint is that the blades break easy. This game is not at all for rowdy, or rough kids. It won't last 1 use.I had to get a replacement because the first one broke. I did notice the first unit flew high and hit the ceiling and would almost "crash land" back to the floor we were forced to play on due to it's high flight.The second (replacement) unit flew appropriately half the height of the first and the battery lasted twice as long. This has led to more fun and no damage.Again, this game is not for uncivilized kids, or those too young to handle items with care.This game is comparable to "hungry hungry hippos" but not really if that makes sense.The drone charges a lot faster with an external wall charger and last abut 19-23 flies before requiring a 20min wall charge.The charging base does not keep up with charging at all during gameplay. The drone WILL due die during use.Not sure if it were dure to the dollar store batteries, but I left the drone on base overnight, and it killed the drone battery. Perhaps I would have gotten better results charging with the base if I didn't use dollar tree batteries, but I will never know. It's free and fast to use a wall charger.Did I mention that this is a waste of money if your kids are prone to breaking things?

So much fun!! My 3 grandsons ages 10, 8 and 5 (and Gma) had a blast with this game!! Since it doesn't require reading or the ability to strategize the 5 year old was able to compete with everyone else!! Even if it lasted one day it would be worth the price!!

So I actually purchased two of these. One from a local toy store and another from Amazon. The local toy store version broke within 5 minutes. The circular propeller broke. So I ordered another version from Amazon because my kids LOVED the game. The newer Amazon version was different. First it came with an extra propeller to address, what appears to be, a recurring issue. Despite not catching the drone a few times, the propeller on this second version has not broken yet (fingers crossed). I'm not sure if it's stronger, but I am glad to have a backup if it breaks in the future. Next, there are also 4 characters per player instead of 3. I much prefer 4 players, because it extends the game. They even changed the image on the box to reflect the fact that there are 4 little guys instead of three per player. My kids LOVE this game!! It's also fun to play with them because it is action-packed and exciting. We loved this game so much we bought it TWICE. I will probably by it again if it breaks. A great game!

This is a really fun game but all ages from our 3 yr old to 12 yr olds. There is no skill needed but the kids are entertained. This is our 2nd one as the charger broke. I guess as older model phone charger will work but we had pitched ours. I contacted the company to buy a new charger & they said they couldn’t help - they are not made anymore. I took off 1 star.

Drone Home:An outstanding fun game for both kids and adults! It generates a wonderful semblance of energy, excitement, competitiveness, suspense & laughter for everyone. The game is easily assembled, kids >7 yrs can do it. The base for the drone requires 4 triple AAA batteries (we just use rechargeable so it lasts many hours and then some). The drone requires charging, comes with a USB charging cable that gives a full charge within 30min. Once charged the family of kids and adults were able to play up to 30min+ before the next charging of the drone. Kids (boys and girls) and the adults all had terrific times taking turns sending the aliens to space! Once the drone is sent up, someone should be ready to catch it on the decent. It’s ok if missed as it happened to us, the propellers seemed to be fairly flexible yet sturdy for misses. It did not seem to have damaged the drone with occasional missed catches.***UPDATE*** This is an addendum to the previous review. We enjoyed this game with the family/friends/adults and kids so much that we made a 2nd purchase recently. We are looking to gift it away during the holidays!

It’s a fun game and my son loves it !!!!! I even enjoyed playing this game whoever invented it did a great job ! I recommend this game for everyone. It’s a good family game.

This game was an instant hit for all of our kids (ages 3, 7, and 9). Lots of laughs, good competitive fun, and still easy enough for my 3 year old to enjoy. Sadly, after only a few days of having it, two of the colored launchers are already broken. If you’re looking for a game to last for years, this is not it. The battery for the drone dies relatively quickly as well, but it also charges quickly so that isn’t as big of a problem for me.

This is the best gift for any kid or family who is looking to spend quality time laughing and enjoying each others company.
