COULAX Magnetic Bluetooth V4.1 Headphones Wireless Stereo Earbuds with Hands-free Calls, In-Ear Headset for iPhone and Android

I was shopping for a Christmas gift for my son and knew he needed a new set of Bluetooth headphones. I searched Amazon for a suitable pair and found these (actually a black pair). Liked them so much that I ordered a pair for myself. My wife intercepted them upon arrival so she could wrap them up to put under the tree as a gift from her to me. I am not sure that would be acceptable for the ladies out there, but as they say "Happy Wife, Happy Life". So I had to wait until Christmas to try these out. Here are my thoughts:Pro's:As advertised, look cool and are comfortableLight WeightAudio sound quite acceptablePairing very easyBattery Life very goodReally like the magnetic closure since I tend to lose everything.Con's:Only one really, the ear bud tips are a bit difficult to exchange and tend to easily fall off after exchanging them. This happened to me twice to the point where I only had one ear bud tip left, making the headphones a bit uncomfortable and really unusable. However, after contacting Coulax through the Amazon messaging center, they quickly responded and offered to replace the headphones at no cost and past the 30 day return period.With customer service at that level, one gets a reassuring confidence in their products. Evem though I am not sure how long the ear bud tips will stay on the replacement pair, I am not sure the fault lies with Coulax, but possibly with my abilities and due to their excellent customer service, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and give them the full 5 stars.

These don't have very good range, and seem to require line of sight to work (which baffles me with current technology). If I'm walking with my phone in my hand, the sound cuts out when my arm swings behind me. I can get away with putting my phone in my front pocket, but if I put it in my back pocket, the sound cuts out completely. If I have it sitting on the table and I'm facing it, it works fine (up to 5 feet away or so), but if I turn my back on my phone, it cuts out. Sometimes it cuts out and won't reconnect even when I'm very close. In this item's defense, my phone is an old Samsung Galaxy S3 (yes, even in 2016), so maybe it's a software issue on my ANCIENT phone?Lastly, these don't work well if you're like me and prefer to listen with just 1 ear at a time. If you try to have 1 in your ear and the other draped on your shoulder ready to be inserted when needed, the weight pulls it down your chest and tugs it out of your other ear.

Pros:The magnet feature is nice and when you are playing music, but put the headphones together, the music pauses.The buttons on the magnet are convenient: volume, next, pause, back.Easy to sync to phone and easy to turn on and offLasted a decent amount of time in between chargesCons:I've had the items for a few months and now the headphones no longer charge. It is dead and I have no idea how or why and what to do with them now.They don't stay in my ears. They did okay if I'm sitting still, but does not work well AT ALL when exercising.I tried using it as a phone headset and people had trouble hearing me.I'm so disappointed in this. I really wanted to like it and didn't return it when I should have. Of course, now that I can't return it, the headphones are dead and won't charge at all. I wouldn't recommend this to people.

I have had these headphones for a month now. They are GREAT. They block out outside noise very well, they hold their charge for 3 2+hour workouts without needing a charge, they are light to wear and fit in my tiny ears very well with the extra sizers they send with them. I have the silver/white ones and they look nice as well.Your phone shows the battery life of the headphones as well as your phone. You can also answer calls with this headset.It is extremely easy to pair with your device/sThe only cons I can think of are:1.The volume/skip button is directly opposite the power/pair button and you can turn the headset off if you aren't paying attention.2. When the headset tells you "low battery" you really ARE LOW. It may display as lots of battery life left, but you get maybe 5 minutes left when you hear the warning.Otherwise a great product for a great price

I bought these headphones and had a slight problem with the control button. I wrote the company, and they said no problem. They said, I didn't have to return the original headset and they would send me a new one immediately! COULAX WAS TRUE TO THEIR WORD!They sent it, and the headset works perfectly. This company has the ethics of a company of an era almost long gone. Where they believe in their products (and their customers) so much, that they ask no questions and have the faith that their customers are always right and true with their request. I find this companie's mantra to be refreshing!Thank you COULAX, I will definitely look at you other products for any of my needs!

While the product itself is good, the customer service of the manufacturer is terrible. I got my headphones and used for about a month and one of the rubber headphones tips came off. I contacted them and found that my order came with one less extra set of replacement tips and they were the smallest ones so I could not use them. I contacted the manufacturer and they told it is not possible to get a extra set of tips. They offered to give me a replacement and I accepted, but after I game them proof of my order I never heard back from them and was basically ignored after that point.

The noise cancelling feature is barely noticeable. Unless the volume is set louder than necessary, you hear all of the area sounds. The music tends to crackle. The USB charging cable stopped functioning on April 2, approx three months after I began using the headphones - - infrequently! Save your money. This item is not worth a penny!
