Good wires, bad execution.
Wires and heat shrink are great. Wire colors match perfectly. Good usable lengths for tall ape hangers. Pins to extend stock connectors are worthless if you are going to route wires internally in handle bars. After hours of trying to make this work, I determined that the only connectors on the bike that can be disassembled are the connectors that are on the bike side of the wiring, not the handlebar. This would allow you to extend the wires and the connectors from the bike towards the handlebars, not vice versa. This causes problems because you cannot put the connectors inside of handlebars because they are way too large to do so. I cut and soldered and heat-shrinked. Worked great. Next time I just would like to be able to buy raw wires without any of the pins, maybe I could get it cheaper that way. This is the third bike I have installed ape hangers on and this has happened to me on all 3. I still recommend the wires but don't put any faith in being able to extend stock connectors out.
