so is it 2 sets of 2 traps 4 total? or is it just one pack with 2 traps?
How long can one trap last?
When a female lays 100 eggs, what % are male vs female ? There seem to be a lot more males.

Didn't work

Took long to ship and when it finally arrived it just didn't work. My wife ended up catching one or two by swatting the moths with this trap!

Not as good as expected!

It's true to say these have caught a couple of moths but not enough. We have four of these at home in various points in the kitchen but the moths keep coming and they have caught no new moths for the past couple of weeks. It makes me think that the pheromones have stopped working already.Would I buy them again...... probably not.

they work like a charm. incredible. especially in comparison to SAFER product. (I bought both)

these reviews are interesting. I bought two of these TERRO pantry moth traps and two of the SAFER closet moth traps. (I have moths yearly in my kitchen cabinets, bathroom, and clothes closet. I didn't have time to compare a gazillion reviews, I read a few and both looked good, both looked inexpensive. WELL: I put a TERRO (Pantry moth) trap and a SAFER (closet moth) trap in my kitchen cabinet, and one of each in my closet as well.BIG NEWS: not a single moth found its way into the SAFER brand in either location. But BOTH TERRO traps (in the closet and in the cabinet) were jammed with dead moths.now, I'm no entomologist, so I don't know what kind of moths these actually are, but MAN, did the TERRO traps ever work. And imagine, the last several years I ran around like a crazed gunman with my fly swatter and my walls all looked like a frenzied death camp.I opened these terro traps, and POOF. Gone.that's my story. Maybe the moths are not related to closet moths. Maybe the SAFER product sucks. Who knows. But TERRO traps are cleaning up my problem.

Speaking from experience - these are incredible!

OK - these things are LEGIT! I have been an animal trainer and bird breeder for the better part of two decades. seed moths (also called pantry or flour moths) have always been a part of life. Sometimes I wont see one for a few years and then I'll buy a batch of seed from somewhere and BOOM! - outbreak!I have always just bought the traps at the local store. Same concept...a flat piece of card stock with a sticky inside. They worked, too, but they took a while to do it. I figured that was just how it works. This trap was different - it didn't cost a whole lot more, and it looked the same. However, included are two little packets. Inside those packets are what looks like a little square of chewing gum. Somehow, the manufacturers placed some kind of pheromone on this thing. All the traps I had bought before used a pheromone, but it was somehow already in the trap. I'd set up the other traps and set them out...a day later or so I'd have one or two moths trapped, then a week later a dozen, and so on....NOT SO with these traps! I'm not kidding - I opened the bag and suddenly, within 30 seconds I became the pied piper of mothdom. I had two moths trapped before I could even set up the trap (which takes only a few moments.) Moths were coming right at the trap with such gusto that I was in shock. Within five minutes I had half a dozen moths trapped, and the others in the room (I had a lot more than I was even aware of) were ACTIVE - something they generally aren't - frantically searching for the sweet and oh-so-sexy source of the smell.I set up two traps three days ago and I don't see a single moth left. not one.I can't imagine any possible way for a trap to work better. No, I wasn't paid for this review. No, I didn't get anything free. These things are THAT GOOD.

Useless piece of sticky cardboard

It doesn't work - save your money. - see the update at the bottom. In my pantry, I had an infestation of bugs. Removed all items from the pantry, cleaned, but the bugs were still walking around from the corners. I kept this Terro 2900 near the traffic, not a single bug was caught. The bugs were side-stepping this - so called trap - and moving freely.Save your money. It might work for a specific type of bug, but it didn't fix my problem. After 3 days, one unfortunate bug got stuck into this, that makes $7/bug. So, I cleaned up the pantry again, sprayed "Raid", which seem to be effective. You need to deep clean the pantry again before bringing back the food items into it.

Stop the pantry moth life cycle.

These definitely do catch moths. After a serious infestation and caused me to empty the pantry and throw out food and repackage others, these traps help with catching any leftover critters that hatch from eggs we didn't remove. If you get an infestation, you need to clean out the pantry. Yes, really clean it out. Any unsealed boxes may have been compromised. I had instant oatmeal packs in a box and they got in and laid eggs. If you have a bag of rice where you roll up the end to seal, it's most like infected. Cleaning and vacuuming are the only way to get rid of these moths. Remove the shelves and wipe everything down. Even then, you may not get all the eggs which are about the size of a tip of a pin. Wipe down the food and and cans as well. If you have the space, install the traps in the empty pantry and outside of it for a few days and let them do their work. You'll catch those suckers. If you have to put your food in right away, just open the traps and put them on different shelves. I think I had about 4 traps in mine catching what was left. It's been several weeks and the traps were filled with dead moths and i haven't seen any eggs or larvae around.
