The table is great. It had some very minor blemishes before it was even unwrapped. These were tiny scratches and bubbling of the surfacing material, looks like this was from assembly at their packaging facility.Speaking of which... There must be a fiberglass sprayer in their packaging facility because, like most items packaged in styrofoam and plastic, the table was electrostatically charged but instead of dirt or dust or loose bits of styrofoam, the table was absolutely covered in a fine layer of loose fiberglass.I thought it was dust at first, but when I looked at my hand I immediately recognized it as fiberglass and promptly got out some pantyhose and soap to remove it from my skin.Unfortunately I don’t have a photo of this as I was more concerned about removing it from my body and keeping my pets away from it.WEAR GLOVES WHEN UNPACKING THIS ITEM AND WIPE IT DOWN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Looks super modern but it’s made very cheaply. It’s made out of low grade particle board that didn’t even make the delivery unscathed (seems common in other reviews too) but, I took a chance because I really liked the design. Plus I had just moved and didnt have the energy to figure out how I would pull off returning this giant piece of furniture by myself. To make it work I basically had to get out my drill and take several trips to the hardware store:- when I opened the box the bottom of the storage section was busted up -haven’t figured out a solve for this yet (see pics)The lift table has these tiny cheap screws that attaches it to the spring loaded apparatus to raise and lower- half of these were ripped from the particle board when I opened the box so I bought big tough screws and washers to replace them.The table top is contact paper that looks like wood grain - so I bolted a plexiglass top to it to prevent scratches and spills from ruining it.Basically, although I made it work I can’t really recommend this product. I spent more money just to make it functional. The manufacturers should charge less if they are going to continue selling this product at such low quality. They should also improve packaging and provide all the pieces separately for assembly if it arriving assembled causes so much damage. Or simply use real/sturdy wood and stronger hardware for this product.

I was so happy to get this in the mail. We unintentionally destroyed the packing materials as we took it out and did the very simple assembly. I threw away all the boxes in a dumpster. Right at the last second as I was admiring my new purchase I noticed a sticker indicating the maximum weight allowed. I peeled it off and it took off a huge chunk of the wood pattern. I was livid.

I love this table. I live in a small apartment, no dining room table, and with my adult children joining me for Thanksgiving I needed a place where we could eat. This coffee table is multi purpose and was the perfect choice. Not only is it a stylish coffee table, when you lift the top it is the perfect height for dining. The added plus for a small apartment is the storage it provides. When the table arrives all you have to do is add the legs. It is a great buy for the money. Is it solid wood? No. But it is a solid piece of furniture that I would purchase again. My table arrived undamaged in the time they said it would.

When I first got this table I loved it. However, I got a sticker from another product stuck to the finish. As I started to peel the sticker off it ripped the layer of PAPER finish off the table. Before I realized what was happening a huge chunk of the PAPER finish pulled right off leaving a huge press board spot. I covered it with a furniture stain, but the spot is sticky and it looks like crap. I hope to add a REAL WOOD top in the near future. The edges also chip very easily and the PAPER finish on top get damaged very easily. I have a lot of little light colored dots where things have punctured the PAPER finish. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TABLE!This coffee table is a beautiful piece of furniture! Especially for the price. Very sturdy and heavy. The function of the lift top is perfect. The added storage is a huge plus it is very roomy. It was extremely easy to put together.. just add the legs. It looks exactly like the picture. This is the perfect coffee table for my room! Buy it - you will not be disappointed.

I was expecting a lengthy assembly process when I received this in the mail, but it already comes assembled! All you do is screw on the legs. It takes some muscle to open and close the table top on purpose (so you don’t accidentally close it on someone’s fingers). And yes, it does come with a sticker on the side, not not remove it. It’s a weight limit sticker that’s important so you don’t damage the product, and it will peel the veneer off of you try and remove it. Since the finish is so dark and the sticker is black on clear, you can only notice it if someone points it out to you.

Exactly what we were looking for: A lift top table with hidden storage that doesn't break the bank. Arrived on time and undamaged, fully assembled except legs which screw right in. Lifts and closes smoothly except the last two inches which require more force so as not to disturb anything that might be resting on top by slamming it shut.

good desk, came with bottom damaged due to packaging I'd assume, but still was in good enough shape that I didn't return. I love the lift-top function and it looks wonderful. Would definitely recommend it. Set-up was literally just screwing in the 4-legs.
