Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Crawl Around Car

I purchased the "Laugh&Learn Crawl Around Car for my great-niece who is a special needs toddler. Her therapists have recommended toys and games that stimulate her senses without overwhelming her brain. I am happy to report that this car is truly a hit with her, with her parents and her therapists. This toddler sized "car" has all the bells and whistles (literally) of any ride-on toy, and little ones get to "drive" just like mommy and daddy. The best part about this toy is that it doesn't move! It is perfect for crawlers, standers and toddlers just beginning to walk. The Car is stationary, making it very easy for a toddler to climb in and out and all around the outside. There are buttons to push and knobs to turn and shapes to insert, on every part of the car. Lots of light-up dials and sounds, as well. Fisher Price has done a great job in understanding what toddlers find "fun" while engaging and stimulating their minds and bodies. This "Laugh & Learn Crawl Around Car" does exactly what it's name says - my great-niece laughs, crawls around and has learned different skills all while "playing" with this toy. This toy has been used pretty constantly for over four months with no real signs of wear and tear. I highly recommend this toy for any young toddler who likes to "drive" but is not quite ready for wheels, yet!

We got this cute little car on a whim for our 9-month old crawling baby based on the TV ad. Looked like fun and it didn't disappoint. Our little guy loves to crawl around it, in it, back out of it, pull himself to a stand with it (with me close by of course!). He loves the sit in it and "drive," press all the buttons, spin the wheel on the back (his favorite), take things out of the trunk (I fill it for him), take the balls and shapes out of the doors, open/close the door.I like that this toy has room to grow too. He can't yet put the shapes or balls into the correct spots. Nor can he operate all of the knobs & buttons yet, so there is room to grow & explore!I also love the different modes - learning, music & sound effect. Gives this toy lots of variety!!! There are two volume choices as well as a huge variety of songs and sounds.A solid toy just don't wait too long to get it. I would say this toy is a good choice as soon as your kid can sit up independently all the way through toddler. Enjoy!

Our seventh month old became obsessed with this toy to the point where I think the first few nights he wouldn't go to sleep because he wanted to play with it. He constantly hits the buttons to listen to the songs. He liked crawling in and out of the car. He also has been using it as support to stand up. He hasn't quite grasped how to play with the shapes but he does play with the blocks and balls. Most of all I am able to put him in it and buy myself a few minutes while he figures out how to open the door and crawl everywhere. I tried to put pillows in front of the door and he learned to climb over them. I also like that the wheels dont move and this is stationary. Absolutely perfect.Most of all assembly was fun yes fun and easy. It took me 20 minutes and i really took my time. The instructions aren't the easiest but with a calm head ie. not a screaming or eager child crawling all over you it is fine. I had fun putting in place the stickers and seeing the final product. I've very surprised that not more ppl know about this toy.

My 6 month old loves this toy. She plays with it everyday. It's kind of nice that I can put her in it and she will play for a good 30 mins. She is now crawling and pulling her self up on everything. So a lot of times i find her standing In the car. Or she crawls to the outside of the car and pulls herself up and plays with it that way.The box was a good size box, that she and my oldest played in while I put the car together. It did take me about 20mins to put together. It says you can you a screwdriver, but I recommend using a drill. Will go much faster. The sounds the car makes are cute and doesn't want to make you pull your hair out. That's always a big plus! The one thing that's hard is that the balls roll out and when she is inside she can't get them back.Other then that it's a. Great toy.

My son loves this! He's just now turning 1.5, and is on target for his age group in some ways and advanced in others. Many of the things he loves the most (such as my iPhone) are too old for him to use properly or safely, so entertaining him is sometimes a challenge. Things that are for his age group tend to sometimes not interest him, as they're too boring. Or, he masters them quickly (puzzles, etc) and moves on. But this...we've had it for a couple of weeks now and he always rushes into his room to play with it. He both enjoys playing with it on his own for short periods--this will allow you to take a shower--and with us, his parents. He loves music, and sounds, and cause and effect. If your child is interested in opposites, or cause and effect (light switches, opening and closing doors, etc) boy is this the toy for you. Of all the toys we've bought for him recently, this and his Duplo blocks were the best value in terms of bang for our buck.

You don't even need to know how to read that's how easy it is to put this car together, the picture instructions are super-easy. Just don't be afraid to be a little rough with it when you're assembling it, sometimes you'd expect to slid easily together but it's more like snap it in. Once assembled I'd have to say the stickers are stickers, if you don't have a steady hand, find someone that does. Other than that, it's awesome, the volume has two options, and it's not the same song over and over and over and over and over again. There are alternating tunes and lights, the kids will love it!! Mine has had it since Christmas and he's still loving it!! He can't stand alone yet but he will hold on and walk around it, pull open the sides and crawl inside. Truly, the child is engaged with the toy, enjoying it everyday.
