True Utility TU241B-P CashStash Waterproof Emergency Cash Capsule for Key Ring

I didn't realize how big the "bullet" was before I bought it. Whatever caliber it is supposed to mimick could probably take down a bear! But I guess it has to be this size to fit a few rolled up bills... by a few I mean 2. I was only able to fit 2 rolled up bills in this thing. So, if I'm ever in a bind and need cash for whatever reason, I hope $40 is enough to get me through. But now that you know I have $40 in my fake bullet bill holder, you're probably gonna come find me and beat me up, aren't you? Well, just know this; I'm a triple blackbelt kung fu master! You can have this "bullet" when you pry it from my cold dead hands! And if you do best me in furious hand to hand combat then at least I'll have this hidden, emergency $40 bucks, wait...

It works but you can barely get a bill to fit in there. It is very hard to roll the bill up small enough to fit inside the case. I would not recommend this for anybody with carpet tunnel or unique handicap with their hands. Other than that it seems to work OK.

True Utility comes out swinging with this nifty bullet stash keychain. The bullet comes packaged in a very useful waterproof plastic case that's reusable for whatever you need to stay aqua free. The bullet itself is a .357 round, styled with a gold case and silver bullet head, Last Shot is etched on the casing, and the end cap comes with a keychain ring and the cap is unscrewable so you can stash away whatever you can fit in there like money, matches, medicine, etc. The cap unscrews easily enough but the bullet is rugged and the seal on the cap should be waterproof. I liked the bullet so much I removed the keychain ring on the end cap, attached a tiny metal hoop, and made it into a necklace which looks awesome. Great, practical, and stylish bullet necklace which has become a permanent fixture in my every day carry setup. Well played True Utility, a cool bargain purchase and now sweet bullet necklace!

Great idea. Just wish there was bigger caliber sizes. This one can only fit one bill at a time. So choose wisely as to what bill to carry. I'd definitely carry a hundred or fifty bill. I'm American obviously. Or just buy a few to carry different bills. You could easily wear them as a cool necklace. If you're a jeweler you can buy 5 and make a sick looking necklace or bracelet. Ideal for both men & women.

Update:I decided i wanted a more “normal” one so i bought the black to replace the bullet. The black is considerabley smaller than the bullet (see picture). In the description it shows the same measurements. Thats obviously false. Dropping from 5 to 3 stars because now i have this black one i’ll never use. (Not worth returning)Original review:I bought the bullet style to keep preferably 2 20’s (American) in. Wasnt gonna happen. Period.However getting a single twenty in there was easy. Five stars because it did say one however twenty bucks isnt much these days and most places wont take over a twenty. So i’ll keep this in the truck to look cool and twenty bucks will still buy me half a tank or a full belly. So pleased.Also it does look pretty cool. I took a pic by a 308 round for color comparison. (I dont own a 357....yet)

It does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It'll definitely keep your cash dry because it has a tight seal. My only criticism is it's pretty big, and for it's girthiness, you can only fit one bill. FYI, I've flown many times, and TSA has never asked me why I have a bullet on my keychain. Just putting that out there.

Bought this as a gift for my husband who forgets his wallet at home a lot!!! Now he always has this on his key ring and always has some money for gas and lunch if needed. Perfect gift for him.

Bought this for my 25 y o niece. The subject of always having cash on you came up. She doesn’t carry any. Now she does. Great product

This is a nice & maybe even stylish product. An unusual use, as a transplant patient I need to take regular immuno-suppression medication and this is just big enough to carry my early evening tablets on a belt clip so I'm not having to cart boxes of pills round. As such this works very well for me. My only grumble is, as others have mentioned, the thread on the cap is very fine ans it is too easy to get the top misaligned and sometimes takes a few attempt for it to screw together properly. There is no practical reason for it needing to be so tight. On the plus side, the small rubber o-ring gasket is good for keeping moisture out.

This is great for having an emergency 20 or 50 on your keychain, however, putting in a Canadian bill is harder now that we have polymer bills instead of paper bills. It still works, it's just harder to do.The bill looks like a mess after removing it from the stash, thus some machines may have issues reading the bill properly due to the multiple creases on the bill after you unfold it.

This is the second True Utility bullet stash I have purchased, and I thought it worth posting a quick warning to other owners. My first stash was 'confiscated' at Nice airport by an over-officious policeman at the security checkpoint, on the basis that it 'looked like a real bullet' and so wasn't allowed on the airplane. This despite my unscrewing it and showing how it held a £20 note, and despite him agreeing that I did not have a gun or any other method of using a bullet in anger, and despite having travelled all over the world wearing it - including on the flight to Nice funnily enough. Anyway, I have since bought a standard True Utility stash tube just for international travel as I don't want to lose another bullet (there was no option to have it posted to me) and they really are a cool thing. Very well made, light but strong, and I know I will always have enough cash to get me out of most any situation.

In Gebrauch am Schlüsselbund, in der Hosentasche wird sehr schnell dunkel und verliert seinen Glanz. Es muss dann mit einem Messingtuch wieder aufpoliert werden.Achtung!An der Sicherheitskontrolle am Flughafen bin ich meinen Cash Stash heute leider los geworden.Aufgrund der Patronenform durfte ich es nicht mit ins Flugzeug nehmen.Ein Nachsenden per Post, oder mit dem Hauptgepäck aufgeben wäre ebenfalls keine Option gewesen, das Ding durfte nicht ins Flugzeug, so oder so.
