ExceptionalSheets Rayon from Bamboo Mattress Pad with Fitted Skirt - Extra Plush Cooling Topper - King

Well I will start by saying I have a lot of herniated discs, degenerative back disease, arthritis and princess in the pea syndrome (since I was a little girl my bed needs to be soft). So I just received what they called a pillow top mattress with very little pillow top, so I started looking online the memory foam mattress toppers all had the same reviews great for a short time but then your impression stays in the pad not to mention the off gassing and price. Then I came upon this mattress topper The reviews were all great and I liked that it was a fitted topper so it doesn't slide all over. I know someone said that the material used on the fitted part wasn't good but I liked it because it fits like gauze and stays put. I received it on wed. ordered it on sat. arrived when they said it would. I got the box so excited like a kid on Christmas morning I looked at the box and was greeted with a personal thank you on the box which made it feel like it was sent from someone personal. I opened the box and found a personal letter from the company first of all Made in the USA but it is a company started by an American Veteran. I love buying made in the USA products but to support a veteran who risked his life to protect our freedom makes it double good. The letter was a form letter about the company but my name was hand written on it with a "Thank you very much! We sincerely appreciate your business! Kyle" hand written. I like that this company takes the extra time to make you feel special on top of the great mattress topper. So after that I put it on my bed, no smell at all, fit like a glove and felt like little clouds. Last night I can honestly say I slept so good I stayed in the same position all night long amazing. I can not tell you the last time I stayed in one position if ever. Now not only is this great to sleep on but like I said I have princess and the pea syndrome I think it is a really good thickness of course right now at this size you could easily remove it and bring it to the laundry mat to wash it (too big to chance on your own machine like your quilts) but if they made one thicker I would definitely go for that one, but I have to say this one is really great I really slept wonderful. I can honestly tell you this is the first review I have actually followed through on I have a 19mo old son (I am a single mom) and today I was able to run around and chase him the whole day without having to take a break when he takes his nap. I got so much done today. Thank you for an exceptional product and for the personal touches. Thank you for making a high quality American made product for a low cost.Update sept.2013 so I had some issues with the mattress pad not popping back to its original position after rolling to a new position and tried many different things to fix. I placed a review on the seller feedback area. Within 5mins. of posting my issue I received a courteous phone call from Kyle very nice and extremely helpful. He said that shouldn't happen and right away offered to replace it or return it for a full refund. What an incredible company they really know what customer service is and I will definitely be using this company again. Good Luck to all and sleep well. Updated review 1/6/2016: I have now purchased THREE of these mattress toppers for the beds in my house! The original topper which I reviewed below, is still fabulous. The only issue I have had with it, is that it got a couple of minor tears in the washer. However, I do not blame this on the topper itself. We have one of the newer high-efficiency washers, and any time we wash large/bulky items, the washer is really hard on them. My husband has some sort of fixation on washing the mattress topper every time we wash the sheets. (I tell him he shouldn't do this.....just vacuum it.) So this topper has been washed more times than I care to count. That said, aside from a couple of small rips, it's still perfect. The padding is still just as fluffy and luxurious as when it was new. With this topper, I actually like my bed at home better than the beds at high-end hotels...I seriously look forward to getting into my bed each night! Also, I should not that we have not had any rips or tears in the 2nd and 3rd toppers we bought. They do NOT get washed all the time.Wow - this is by far the best mattress pad I have ever owned. During the past five years I have purchased three mattresses and at least as many mattress pads in my quest for a good night's rest. I recently found a mattress that I really like, but I still had my old mattress pad which was lumpy, hot and uncomfortable. After much research, we decided to purchase this bamboo mattress pad from Exceptional Sheets, hoping it would be as comfortable, cool, and durable as many of the reviews indicated. We received the mattress pad within a couple of days of ordering, and it was packaged well. I was happy to note that the pad had not been crushed into a tiny box, but instead was packaged in a large box which allowed it to come right out of the box fluffy and ready to use. I was also so interested to see the personal note from the company inside the box. And much to my surprise, I discovered that the mattress pad was manufactured in my childhood hometown - another plus!Upon removing the pad from the box and placing on the bed, it was immediately evident it was well-made. Much better made than the previous three pads I had owned, which all were at similar price points. The stretchy part which fits around the mattress was of superior quality compared to others, and the pad itself felt heavenly.I have owned this mattress pad about a month now, and it is incredibly comfortable. Others reviewers are correct in that this mattress pad really does seem to help keep you cool at night! It is heavenly soft, but not the type where you feel you are sinking so far down in it that it makes you hot. It is soft and comfortable, and makes an already good mattress even better.I would highly recomend this mattress pad to anyone hoping to improve the comfort of their current bed - this one will do the job!
