Great TV combo for your RV!!
Great RV TV combo!! The complaint about the remote is true. You do have to keep switching back and forth to control tv and DVD player. No big deal. Sound is alright. What flatscreen tv does have good sound anyhow. Hooked it up to a Bose portable speaker, sound is great now!! Picture is wonderful!! Love this tv for our RV. Would purchase again. Will be purchasing the 13 inch for our bedroom in the RV soon.

Good but has issues.
The choices are very slim for a 12V powered TV with an integral DVD. However this one was rated higher than any other. It works as advertised. However the TV is quite lacking in two areas. First the sound quality is absolutly horrible. I have since added a sound bar which required some inginuity in my truck camper to correct this problem. Secondly and the biggest issue I have with this unit is the viewing angle is very very narrow. I have it mounted in the cab over area in my truck camper. Even at that close range if you are not looking at the screen from the center of the bed the picture loses quality quickly. If you are centered in front of the screen the picture quality is very good.

Great in my class B motorhome
Installed this in my Class B Winnebago Era as a replacement of my 11 year old tv-dvd player and am happy with it. The audio out jacks integrated perfectly with my RV's stereo so the sound comes from the speakers in the "lounge" area. To make this work, it took a while to figure out the right settings on the tv. Not written up in the instructions. Must have TV speakers set to "off"... they sound tinny anyway. Then set TV to "external audio" in "Settings". Set rv srereo (mine is also Jensen) to "Aux" and press the wall-mounted "radio-tv" toggle switch (if equipped) to "TV".The dvd player works well but remote control design isn't the best because you need to press "TV" button or "DVD" button to control each one independently. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. So far, 6 months of shaking, rattling and rolling but the unit is still solid.

Didn't work out of the box...
The remote didn't work on several levels...one was the power button, that didn't work...but for testing purposes I could still power up the tv with its button mounted on the top of the tv. So I tried a DVD...picture quality was good considering the unit, but as most have said, sound quality was not so great, sounded like a tin can and woudn't go very loud. Due to the fact that the remote didn't work for several different inputs/buttons, I returned the unit for a refund and am going to try a similar unit from a different manufacture that unfortunately doesn't sell on Amazon. Bottom line...I think that all these 12v DC tv/dvd units are probably inferior to what we would typically purchase for home use.

As Advertised
Just unboxed and tested all features. everything works ok, both power supplies work (some reviewers mentioned that only the A/C worked, and not the DC).this will be installed in the boat, so will get some shock/vibration loads, and be in a moist environment.I was also happy with the overall thickness of the TV, as i expected it to be a bit thicker with the integral DVD player. The remote was a bit confusing at first. it operates like an aftermarket universal remote. for example, you have to press the "TV" button before you can use the "power" button to turn the unit off. if you have pressed the "DVD" button, you are only sending commands to the DVD player, and the "power" button wont turn the TV off.

Failed DVD, insufficient volume
Installed in a Class B RV, the volume was insufficient unless it was amplified or sitting within 3 feet of the screen. More annoying was the DVD failure after 9 months (perhaps 15 uses). The remote control does not access all functions (i.e. volume when in DVD mode). Be sure to purchase the extended warranty.

Terrific
TV is good, lots of features.

Works great even after being bounced around in the camper.
Picture comes in great but the sound is very low. Need to add a speaker to hear the tv.
User
NOT OK for us
This is great for a small camper. It travelled well, works well, but does need a bit of a sound boost. Small external speakers work fine.UPDATEThis TV does not play our DVD's now....stopped working! Of course...it's not eligible for return!
