These books are really great for gleaning information. The authors writing style is engaging and she puts practical examples into the profiles. It's great alone even for the historical information in medicine - amazing to think how Lysol was used. She also was spot on about the dangers of aspirin, antibiotics and harsh products like Lysol. However I think the first book was better. It seems some repetition in this book rather than entirely new cases.

I love Dr. Shepherd's books. They are interesting and easy to understand. I love that this one has an index to help me find things I remember I read but can't remember the page.Fantastic homeopathic suggestions based on her vast experience. I wish she had written more books.The examples she gives helps you to remember the remedies and their uses.Very important learning and reference tool.

I've read all of her books within weeks- can't put it down - she has so many fascinating experiences from her homeopathic practice. I have the desire to keep learning more about homeopathy!

Love the writings of Dorothy Shepherd! Love the stories she tells. I am So happy to add this to my collection.

I love all her books on Homeopathy, very well written, and interesting.

Dr. Shepherd is an amazing physician, and a wonderful read. While there are many who do not believe homeopathy works, one need but only try some of the remedies offered by Dr. Shepherd to see it's benefit. She writes in a sort of narrative style, mentioning in stories of her use of remedies during World War II, and how homeopathy facilitates normal healing. Highly recommended.

Dr. Dorothy Shepherd's writing is so pleasant and easy to comprehend. I always learn something new when I pick up any of her books.

I happen to like Shepperd's style of writing and the way she relays her experiences as a homoeopath.Nothing much has really changed, apart from the ever increasing toxicity of ourselves and the planet which might render the remedies a little less effective in today's world.That said, this is interesting reading and a good starting point to understand the life and difficulties faced with treating patients and the success stories of those it helped heal.
