Wagner Flexio 570 Interior/ Exterior Hand Paint Sprayer (Renewed)

My husband and I used this paint sprayer to paint the outside of our cabin. A great product. Works like a charm. Hubby did mask windowsto protect from overspray but this was a time saver. Paint went on evenly. Well worth the price. I took a chance and bought this factory reconditioned sprayer, I saved more than $40.00, and I sure wasn't disappointed.It is heavy when it's full of paint. The way we got around that was hubby did the top areas on a ladder, when his arms gave out he handed it to me and I did the lower area while he rested.We are seniors and trading off really worked well for us.

This unit will indeed spray very thick exterior latex paint which some other brands CLAIM to do but will not. Having said that, the spray it produces when using outdoor latex paint is extremely coarse and has a LOT of blobby overspray. This is however usable for exterior house and garage painting which is exactly what I bought it for. I did try thinning the latex paint about 10% on one filling and tried different settings on the air and paint flow controls to see what happened but overall it made absolutely no noticeable difference.I just finished painting my garage with this using Kilz latex; the first really big job I had done with this spray gun. Now the BAD news…Given the excessive amount of over-spray, which couldn't be eliminated or even reduced, the gun, fan motor unit, paint cup, and spray nozzle quickly get COVERED with over-spray paint. This includes the two air filters in the motor unit which are almost impossible to clean: I had to temporarily replace them with ScotchBrite pads...The big problem here is that when you spray a fairly big job, such as one side of a garage, by the time you get finished, the over-spray on the gun has pretty well dried and is very difficult to downright impossible to remove. A point to remember is that you MUST start cleaning up the gun IMMEDIATELY after finishing spraying. Even if you do clean up immediately upon finishing spraying it’s still extremely hard and very time consuming.After completing my painting on each of the three days I took to finish, it took me a full HOUR on each day in order to give the gun a proper cleaning. Cleaning involved actually having to SCRAPE off the hardened paint over-spray with small screwdrivers and my fingernails. Merely trying to wash the over-spray off with running water just didn’t work. Brushing and wiping, even with a TSP solution didn't help a bit.If you don’t get the nozzle parts clean then the gun doesn’t work properly. In fact, after having been spraying for between 30 minutes and one hour, over-spray on the nozzle parts was affecting the spray pattern and paint flow to the point where performance was substantially reduced.I never did manage to get the over-spray off of the motor housing and paint cup...I wish I hadn't bought the thing and had paid a lot more money for an actual airless sprayer which uses a high pressure paint pump and spray nozzle.

It came pretty clean. Missing only one sticker on the compressor portion. I had their EZ tilt model in the past that lasted one long afternoon. That model was piston based and requires a $40 part to fix it, so I went with this refurbished model instead. I've used it one day and did about 6 refills before tearing it down and cleaning it. So far I'm very happy.

I understand that this was supposed to be "Certified Refurbished" product, but this is a used product, with new filters. I can't see how it could be certified to be called refurbished. The sprayer wasn't even wiped off. I ran a clorox wipe around it and it looks better than when I got it. The cord is completely covered with paint. Unfortunately I took the photos after I had already tried cleaning. I got frustrated because I wasn't able to get it to look decent, which is why I left the 1 star rating.The sprayer is missing stickers, the safety tag is completely covered with paint,Also, its not even the right part number. The one I received was the Flexio 590.

Beats my $200 airless gun, no question. Easy to use, easy to clean, lightweight, and very little maintenance. I can't seem to keep an airless running, but this baby is hard to kill and just keeps on going. Washing is no harder than pots and silverware. Maintainence involves changing 2 little air filters. It would be hard to paint a ceiling with this sprayer - aside from that its pretty darn perfect. Grandma might find it heavy but honestly anyone willing to DIY a paint job should be able to easily use this sprayer.

Easy to use. Significantly reduces the time to paint. Have used it so far only with Solid Deck/Fence Stain. but should work equally well with regular paint. One downside, it does take a fair amount of time and effort to clean up after use, so better to paint by hand/brush if painting a small area.

again when working with latex paint even using filter screen and constantly thinning the mix the yellow defuser plugs after 20 ounches of paint going thru it. heat from the gun and outside heat weather makes a big difference must work fast and constantly shaking the paint sprayer after 15 minutes of use must stop and soak gun in hot soapy water using tooth brush and soft nylon pipe cleaner to clean and statr over again.the only thing good about it is the noise it makes sounds like a vacume cleaner

I was nervous about purchasing a refurb paint sprayer, but alas, it worked very well. I only used it once. FYI, I received a flexio 590, NOT 570. I think they say it’s a 570, so they won’t have to give us the detail nozel that comes with the 590... Not cool... But any who.. I painted my living room with unrhinned latex paint. Had no issues. The only time it sputtered was when I forgot to wipe off dried paint.The paint sprayer came with a brush, manual, and all the still that was in my pics. It was also well packaged!I will update when I use again to stain my deck..
