It makes a wonderful ingredient in lotion bars, lip balms, body butters, and soaps. Recommended Usage: Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 % Balms: 5 – 100 % Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 % Hair Conditioners: 1 – 5 % When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing. Caution: Overheating this product will impact its fragrance. Please melt at as low a heat as possible while stirring gently, and use as soon as it is melted. Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of 1 year when stored properly.

Great quality
This stuff smells sooo good! I've made lotion bars and lip balm with it and they turned out perfect. I like the wafers, it's so much easier to measure out than having to grate it from a block. I'm glad I took a chance with this brand - I was not disappointed.

Butter...
Really good quality butter! I order from this company a lot because I feel that I'm purchasing quality. My man's father had a really bad case of eczema from Chemotherapy, his skin looked like that of an alligator and he could not find relief to get any sleep. I purchase these butters and made a body butter and in about a week and a half, his skin was totally clear from the dry patches that he had previously suffered from. I was trying to help him sleep, I didn't realize that it would clear his skin in this manner. Thanks to the company for putting such a great product out there.

Nice quality, and very handy in the little rounds!
Measuring cocoa butter when it comes in a hard block is almost impossible, inconvenient at best. But these little cocoa butter chips are perfect for using in my organic body care products, measuring out just the right amount and making wonderful whipped cocoa belly butter, gardener's salve, etc. They smell delicious and make homemade kitchen projects delightful.
