I soaked and rinsed several times as accustomed, but I can see this brand has no grit like some others I've used and blends to a smooth consistency. Great value for the money; a little goes a long way, goes down easy, and NO fishy after taste. Quality product. This is the one I'll be using going forward.

Do not buy this seamoss!!! It is pool grown which has no benefits. I only bought it to compare and see what pool grown looks like. In the picture the left side is from this company. Before opening the bag it felt squishy, there was a punch hole in the bag and when I opened it, it smelled so bad and was still moist with lots of salt. The right side of the picture is real authentic seamoss, which is dry and you can tell the quality difference and it is from the company Elderwise which i purchased through Amazon also. Trueseamoss is definitely not true to what they advertise which is sad. Also in the picture from True seamoss company there is blackish stuff on it. Save your money and actually invest into authentic seamoss that will be beneficial to your health. Don't be fooled by the great reviews. Make sure to do extensive research when buying seamoss!

It's a good sea moss. However even after rinsing and soaking a few times and soaking overnight it still contained a slight fishy smell. I've bought a really good sea moss over the years where the smell went away completely after cleaning and soaking. But once I put it in my smoothie there was no smell so I will continue to use this sea moss for now.

I have bought this sea moss over six times, and every time, it is good quality and gets soft after soaking and rinsing many times and using lime to preserve it. BUT I just bought two bags, opened one, and soaked some overnight, and it is rubbery and smells like mothballs! I am so disappointed. I cannot consume it. I don't even know if it is sea moss.

Once received i notice its a small bag, the size of a hand full. I washed and soak for 2 days, then rinse again. After blending this moss it still stayed in a grain form instead of blending out to a gel. I used a ninja blender for longer than I should, but never became a gel. I'll try soaking then boil before blending,maybe I'll get the gel form. And also Still had a salty taste after that long in the water which ot shouldn't have.
