This is a lovely lamp that adds an artistic element to the room. The one I have emits a cozy, warm, orange/peach glow when turned on. When turned off, the orange/peach color is pale enough that I think it would be complimentary with most color schemes. It comes well packaged, with 2 extra light bulbs, and a two year warranty. Tap and hold the on/off button on the cord to control the brightness of the lamp. The lamp I received is 8 inches high, 4 1/2 to 5 inches wide depending on how it is positioned, and weighs 9 1/2 pounds, so be sure you put it on a sturdy table. I am VERY pleased with my salt lamp! The 3 photos zI attached are in this order: off, bright, & dim. All 3 photos were taken without a flash, and with the ceiling light on to get the color of the lamp in the photos to most closely match the color it appears to my eyes (because cameras sometimes exaggerate brightness).

I love these salt lamps. I bought 2. They are very good quality. Live the dimmer switch. A little bit of a learning curve with the switch but easy once you figure it out. You have to tap the switch to turn the lamp on and off, once the lamp is on you can touch and hold the switch to dim the lamp or make it brighter. If you touch and hold the switch from the off position the lamp does not turn on and you may think it is defective. That is not the case, try turning it on first and then hold the switch. I bought the 8 to 11 lbs lamps and they are a good size, and a very pretty color. I have only had them for a couple days now but I love them so far.

So, right out of the box it’s a beautiful salt rock and it comes vacuum sealed. The little info trifold says that they are all different and unique and mine has a flat part on the back side which is in the second photo and the rounder part of the lamp is in the remaining photos. It gives a very pretty ambiance and the salt itself is such a beautiful texture. I like the touch to turn on/off/dim switch. Seems to be mostly responsive. I wish the front part of the rock showed the light like the flatter backside but it is still a beautiful lamp. I have been looking at the air purifier by the same company and I am very close to making that purchase considering the quality of this product and it’s packaging.

I tried this brand because of the reviews. I bought a bigger size, and I kinda wish I would've gotten a smaller one. So I ordered some other brand with smaller ones - they sucked. One was white and the other pale pink. I returned those. I went to an actual store and looked for a lamp that came anywhere near close to the rich AMBER color this one I received.... no where near. Maybe I got lucky with the color!? or maybe this brand is really good about the deeper rich color?! So I'm keeping it. The shape is okay. The color is gorgeous!!! Anyone who has trouble with insomnia or sleep - AMBER light helps tremendously... just ask my sleep physician. You know how our devices can automatically dim with warm temperatures at evening? It helps for our sleep. Take away those blue lights of any kind. Amber is the way to go. My bedroom is now in grays, browns, and a bit of amber accents. It's peaceful and helping me sleep. My favorite thing in the room is this deep rich colored lamp.

I've purchased about 10 Levoit Salt Lamps all together (including given as gifts), and I keep buying them because each one is so unique and different. One I have -is real dark orange like fire, and another is very light almost yellow, and another has a stripe design in the rock, and another is half dark and half light (really pretty!). The romantic glow looks warming in any room, and makes you feel good because of the negative ions and naturally cleans the air. I've seen many other Salt Lamps but I don't think they look near as pretty as the Levoit Lamps. Because the Levoit Lamps are big -a good size, and they are mounted on a thick nice piece of wood, you get a good chunk of rock, and they have a safe UL-listed cord. I feel this company knows how to make these Lamps right, and I can't wait to buy another one, because each one is different!

This is by far the most Beautiful salt lamp I've ever seen!! The quality is hands down superior (larger and heavier too) than their competitors and they put a lot of money into their packaging to ensure that the lamp is not damaged during shipment. I'm serious, I've purchased from 3 other companies and there is no comparison in quality AND customer service! I will only purchase from LEVOIT from here on out. The first lamp that I received did not have the dark amber color that I wanted, so I contacted Levoit and was amazed at how thoughtful and courteous their customer service department was. They even sent me customer photos (salt lamps) from happy customers to show that most of their lamps are truly the dark color that I was looking for. They explained that every single salt lamp genuine and unique. Because of their continued contact and assistance, I returned the lamp and tried again for a dark amber color lamp. The lamp arrived today and it is the MOST BEAUTIFUL salt lamp ever! Thank you LEVOIT for educating me on the differences in himalayan salt lamps. LEVOIT is the ONLY salt lamp company to use! Don't waste your money on the cheaper ones that give salt lamps a bad name.

I really like the build quality of this lamp. Unlike the others that can be rather crude or shoddily built, this one is nice. However, either the crystal is too big, unevenly bored or the bulb is not powerful enough to lit the whole lamp. You can see it on my photo, top 1/3 is in the dark. Kind of spoiler. Another situation is with the power switch. Albeit nice, touch, and hi-tech looking, it does not work with my switched outlet. If you switch the power source off (the outlet, not the switch on the lamp) and then switch it back on, you have to make additional action on the lamp switch to turn it on.

This salt lamp is awesome! It came packaged so great in an adorable box that is almost perfect as is if giving it as a gift. No wrapping really necessary. It's pretty heavy. When it arrived, I couldn't believe how hefty it was. It's a decent size as well and has a perfect glow. It came with replacement bulbs which is awesome and saves me from the hassle of having to search for the proper bulb at the store. You can adjust the level of glow really easily and it's fairly simple to operate. Just a tap of a little button and it's glowing beautifully. It adds to the homey feeling and really creates a peaceful ambiance.
