Jim Dunlop 535Q Multi-Wah Crybaby Pedal - Chrome

While the pedal performs as expected. Noiseless operation selectable tone, Q settings and a variable optional gain boost up to 15dB I am not at all impressed with the quality of the finish overall. I opted for the chrome version and while it's nicely polished on the exterior the underside of the footplate is disgraceful it does not look as if it has been cleaned up after being cast and there are patches of corrosion. The knurled tone, volume and Q knobs were impregnated with a white powdery/paste substance ( probably some kind of polish residue) which was difficult to clean off. This might seem like minor issues but since this is claimed as Dunlop's flagship crybaby pedal you'd expect quality throught and have to question where else corners have been cut.

Great sounding pedal and built like a brick. Sure to have years of fun with this little baby..!!

This is a pedal that is able to find the exact Wah sound you are looking for , it is easy to use , although it does take a bit of experimentation to work out how to find your elusive sound. I am so happy with it. It also has a boost feature which I am sure I will find a use for at some point but as yet it is unexplored.
