Source Naturals: Potassium Iodide, 120 tabs

My mom only has 1/6 of her Thyroid left after a tumor was removed on her neck. Right after her surgery which was about 8 years ago now, they told her she would probably have to be on Thyroid medication for the rest of her life. I immediately did some research and found this stuff, I got her on it, shes been on it ever since, and her Thyroid levels have been fine all this time. The Doctor's are amazed she doesnt need medication. I have her not take it for 3 days a month, otherwise the body can get "immune" or used to it and it wont work. If she forgets to take it, she feels tired and has to take a nap. Its been keeping her going!

Excellent alternative to other more expensive brands. I need to take some form of Potassium Iodine for thyroid issues. Other brands were burning my wallet! I tried this and love it. No complaints. Well made, reputable company, and product is compatible to other more expensive brands.For my does I cut the pills in half- no problems there. Well made and don't crumble.I will definitely continue to buy this specific brand of P.I.

The tabs came on time and well packaged. I like the dosage, although for the most part I use 1/2 tab per day. I am in my late sixties and have most of the symptoms of an underactive thyroid -- which is the main reason I bought this. Also, I bought in part because of Dr. Brownstein's books pointing out that iodine deficiency is common these days. I've noticed a distinct improvement in my energy and sounder sleep in the last two or three weeks. So, now I think I'm getting enough iodine. So, all in all, I am very happy with the service, quality, and price of this product.

I always worry about counterfeit supplements on amazon because I do not they believe they regulate this. However, this is not the case with this brand which I usually can only get in a health food store. My partner starting having symptoms for which I encourage him to take this for. Sure enough, it worked. So, I trust these are quality

But the instructions on it say not to use for more than 10 days and followed the instructions and only took them for 10 days. I thought that potassium iodide was a supplement you can take everyday. Oh well, I feel good.

I read a lot, and the medical world has now linked the rise of breast cancer with iodine deficiency as well as a host of other medical problems. I advise anyone to google "symptoms of iodine deficiency" and read.
