Best. Toy. Ever!
Oh my goodness. Best. Toy. Ever! This is the coolest toy I have seen in a very long time. My son mentioned that he wanted this for Christmas. My initial reaction was it was a little pricy, but I didn't understand that this toy has all the assesories that are generally sold seperately included. My son opened this on Christmas and his reaction was priceless, and my husband's was typical. "Where's my tool kit?" I opened the end of this box and set it so all the pieces could tumble out, but a nearly completely battle rover rolled out. Within a couple minutes and some batteries this thing was ready for play. The lights and sounds are so cool and there were so many assesories. Did I read the instructions? Nope, I was too busy playing, so it took me a while to discover that if the space ship shot the battle Rober it reacted to the "attack." This thing is also big and built for the punishment that toddler and child play involves. This is the neatest toy and I am definately very glad I didn't let the price cause me not to look at it further. Honestly for all that comes in this box, the price is quite nice.I wanted to update my review. My son has had this toy for some time now and it is still one of his favorites. I have been extremely impressed with the durability of this toy. I continue to highly recommend this toy.

Great big fun toy!
I love all the imaginext toys I've tried so far, including this one. Santa brought it as a gift for our 3 and 5 year old boys and they really like it. It is definitely big enough for the two of them to play with together especially since there are so many things to do on it. There is a removable space ship type thing that rises up with the push of a button and shoots little discs, a little car, lots of little places for the imaginext guys to sit and hide and lots of buttons with sound effects. It does come with a lot of small pieces but they are really not necessary so you could easily just put them away if they are too small for your child. The actual toy is quite large (about 2+ feet long x 1+ foot wide x 1 + foot tall) maybe more so you would need space. We paid $75 for it on Amazon a few weeks before Christmas and I thought that was a fair price considering that it is such a big toy and it would be shared among our kids. We did not get frustration free packaging but it was no problem because it comes fully assembled anyway. You just need to add batteries.

Not the Quality I've Come to Expect
My 4 year old son has been playing with the ImagiNext toys for about a year and we have been impressed with the quality of everything we've purchased thus far. This ImagiNext Battle Rover is an impressive new headliner for the ImagiNext toys series. However, Fisher Price clearly took some shortcuts that left me a little underwhelmed.Despite what's listed in the Q&A, this requires 7 AA Batteries in total. 4 for the Battle Rover and 3 for the Spaceship.First, the "GOOD":- Large playset that has a lot of interactive parts. (Trap doors, Releasable Car Ramp, Spring loaded Canons, Docking Space Ship, and More).- Three Vehicles in One! The Battle Rover is a Vehicle in its self, but also includes a spaceship that docks on the back and a small car that launches from the ramp at the front of the Battle Rover.- Has 2 handles on the back to make pushing this around easy for Toddlers.- Mostly very well constructed and should hold up against fairly rough play.- Completely assembled minus a few canons and satellite dishes that attach to the top. Batteries not included. (Will need 7 AA Batteries.)Now the "BAD":- The spring loaded canons are the worst and most cheaply constructed shooters I've seen from an ImagiNext toy. The bullets have to be very carefully loaded or they will slide to the side of the spring and not shoot. My 4 year old has a tough time with this.- The outfits for the action figures don't snap on securely like every other ImagiNext figure we've purchases. They just rest on their heads, get crooked and fall off when turned upside down. The outfit for the alien gets twisted up when you move the aliens arms up from the prone position.- Several pieces, such as the ladders, that don't even remotely attach securely to the battle rover and just become extra clutter that will likely be lost.- A few of the moving parts on the ship feel very loose and cheap. I only notice this because it is such a drastic deviation from what I've come to expect.- The Space ship does not dock very securely and topples off the of docking station when raised up. This is a pretty minor thing but it would have been pretty easy to make this sit more securely.Overall this is a great toy and toddlers won't notice or care about the flaws. The "Good" certainly out weighs the "BAD" and I don't regret the purchase at all. For the original price of $150 I expected a lot more but I only paid $85 during a Black Friday Amazon sale.

I wish this was around when I was younger!!
What a great toy! It is big and rugged. Put some batteries in it and the entire rover lights up, the shuttle raises up and shoots out 18 disks. My 7 year old son received this for his birthday and has not stopped playing with it yet. This was going for 2x what Amazon is charging for Xmas and has come down to a more reasonable price. Great value for the price of the toy! There are some small pieces, so kids under 5 would have some issues with it. My son was able to assemble with no help from me. This toy is built to last and to withstand a energetic boy playing with it daily.

Disappointed 4 year old
I am soooooo disappointed! This was our big Santa gift to our 4 year old. We took it out of the box a week ago, put it together and all seemed good. Placed it under the tree and our 4 year old was ecstatic!!!!!! It worked through Xmas day and when we woke up The day after Xmas It didn't work. We replaced batteries and to no avail, the rover does not work. We threw the box away a week ago after we assembled:0( so we are stuck with something that does not work. please help!
