Excellent item - small size (much smaller than lecia distos), variety of options to display units (ft, m, ft-in, etc), battery is internal, and a great price.

The meter does not require batteries, however, the built in rechargable battery drains quickly and needs to be recharged after every use. The screen is clear and the meter is small and handy. In general the meter is good.

It is a fantastic tool to own. Saves time and effort. More so, quite portable and fairly priced.

This laser measurement tool worked great for the first charge which lasted quite a long time. Then it just stopped working. Its a bit difficult to use as it allows all sorts of ways to do different measurements for area, volume, pythagorean theorum but this makes it difficult to do what I wanted to do almost every time - measure distance. So this is a toy which you should buy for a single use. Dont expect it work next year.

If you can get used to the menus and start up procedures this is a great, tiny, handy measuring tool.

First, what I am experiencing may be user error. The device seems to be very precise at short distances, but longer distances can vary by an inch or more. That may be because the user manual is not informative at all and consists of a bunch of pictures without any discussion of how to actually use the device. Also, the device is very small (a plus) with rounded corners, which makes it difficult to get an accurate lase across a long distance. So far, I can see it being a great device where precision doesn't matter, but I'm not sure I'll be using it to measure for crown molding.

I use this laser as a measuring device for Bocce. I tworks great and has eliminated a lot disagreements. Great product and reasonable. However, I have not used this laser over a long timeframe yet.

Laser light doesn't work, it doesn't work at all.
