You may need a 1/16" drill.
I love the product, however, nearly every time I buy one in the store, it has a weird issue, example:First time I bought one it was fine, no problems at all,Second time I bought one, the seal around the top of the bottle nipple insert was leaky. The third time, the bottle hole was not punctured all the way through, so I tried a pin, then a nail, tapped it in gently, and popped the whole nipple insert into the bottle ans spit the bottle, having kept the first bottle, i just poured the stuff into a glass and sucked it into the old bottle.Fourth time, this time off of Amazon (this time right now)I bought two bottles, the nipple holes were not all the way through as before, however poking down into the bottle with a pin or thin nail was too difficult and not wanting to split the bottle again, I decided to try and just chuck up a 1/16" drill bit and drill the nipple out.It worked fine, no chunks in the bottle because its poly pro and just sorta peeled out. But it kind of sucks to have to do that due to the thickness of the plugged plastic end.The first one that I broke, I took apart and found that the nipple was only punctured like an 8th of the way down, leaving most of it a solid plastic mass. Well in short, it's a great product, but you may need to do some work to open it if you get a plug that wont open with a fine nail or pin. This was the case with the two I just got from here in the mail today. Two in a row, so just letting you know that's a thing.

D4 + MoFi Brush are an amazing combo
I've had excellent results cleaning my records with D4+. It loosens dust and dissolves oil very effectively, and, most importantly, actually reduces static on the surface of your records. It is, however, important to note that the RCA Discwasher "brush" that this typically comes with is a total POS. I think a lot of the hate that you see from the "Back in the 70s/80s...." guy has more to do with the brush than the D4+.I use D4+ with the MoFi record brush and they are a perfect combination. You need to use way less solution on the MoFi brush than you do on the Discwasher's corduroy pad, and the fibers are actually capable of getting all the way into the grooves. Any time I buy a used record, I always hit it with the MoFi/D4+ combo and have been surprised more than once at what pops out of vinyl that looked immaculate to the naked eye.As with everything in audio, cleaning is a system and you simply have to find the components that work well together. They are often different from what's recommended or included in the package.

Got dirty vinyl? Clean it with Discwasher!
If you are a lover of vinyl, you will want to keep it clean. This is the perfect way to clean it. Unless it is EXTREMELY dirty, this will take everything off of your records. Now, I give this a 4 out of 5 for two reasons. 1: If you buy the new kit that comes with the brush, it is crap. Use one of the original brushes. It goes one way, making sure that it will pick up dirt and dust, but the new brush does not go one way, making sure that you will pick NOTHING up. 2: It is very easy to use too much discwasher. If you put too much on, it will not come off the record, and if not taken care of ASAP, it will dry and ruin the record. Don't be too generous. Just put a small amount on and it will work great. So, if you listen to vinyl and care about it, this is a must have.

Great for lower priced cleaner if you already have the pad, not much antistatic help.
Very good especially for a lower end record cleaner. I wouldn't say it does much in the way of antistatic but when used with the pad that came with the original kit it has cleaned skipping records well enough that they stopped skipping. Removes all visible dirt and debris but I'd say this is more for a casual or beginning vinyl collector, possibly handy for a quick touch up of a record just for fingerprints and surface dust once it's already been cleaned by a higher end system. Really though, can't beat the price.

Cleans Vintage Records Perfectly, Leaves Them Playing and Looking Like New, Highly Recommend
I regularly buy vintage records that are dusty, covered in finger prints, and could honestly use a little bit of TLC. After putting some of this product on a microfiber cloth, and cleaning my dirty records, they look and play as if they are completely new. I will be repurchasing this product when I run out (which will be a while since the fluid lasts a long time, and you do not need much to clean with). This fluid does a perfect job cleaning records very quickly with a small amount of solution, and is highly recommended by me.

Can 40 years of production squech any concerns
Fair priced, safe and effective without going through an obsessive ritual and expense to prepare an LP for listening. Expending 15 minutes washing, wiping, brushing, cleaning or primping your LP, stylus or anything else every time you want to play an album just dilutes the event of wanting to enjoy your music. It’s supposed to be a relaxing moment not a part time second job.

You better buy this if you love LP's
If you know and love LP's as I do, and your collection comes back from decades, you have the DiscwasherSystem. If you are new to this high-resolution but very fragile medium, keeping the grooves absolutely clean is one of the fundamental elements of quality sound and durability. Since 1978 nothing does the job nearly as good as this product.Of course, you already have a perfectly aligned, balanced and calibrated, new and high-quality pick-up mounted on a good tone-arm with precisely adjusted tracking and anti-skating forces...right? The vinyl recordsyou got from daddy or your dear uncle,if properly treated, will survive your grand children(google it).Your MP3'scomparable in marketing and musical terms to a bag of Doritos and Your CD's will last"a lifetime". As a newcomer to Hi-Fi,you become a custodian of musical history, your LP's are precious, irreplaceable, invaluable. Protect them with tender-loving care, gather your friends and enjoy!

Good product, however costly.
Good product (I had used the old D3 solution a hundred years ago or so), delivery was terrible, and you don't get the bottle that is represented in the picture. I got a spray bottle, which is overkill and uses more of the fluid than is necessary, making it even more expensive. Not unhappy, I knew that it was expensive when I bought it, but I got what I paid for; and it does what it's supposed to.

Great LP cleaning fluid
I have been using this product for years to clean my 850+ LP records. Cleans yet leaves no residue, exactly what is needed. I was recently gifted with 107 fantastic Classical records from well..... a less than tidy household. These wonderful recording were a challenge, ESPECIALLY since clean LP's are the best safeguard for my best stylus (out of 6) a 42 year old MMC20CL. I really do recommend this product.

Albums are sometimes worse off
I bought this based on the number of people who use it and after applying it to a handful of albums, it actually caused more issues leaving a residue that is tough to get off. I've gone back to using Gruv Glide and though it's expensive, it completely eliminates static, leaves my albums spotless and actually improves the sound quality. For really dirty albums, I'd suggest using what most record shops use, 1/2 water, 1/2 alcohol solution, apply to a soft cloth, use a circular motion to clean, then use Gruv Glide (which treats albums for a long time in one application).

D4 Plus cleans vinyl records nicely.
I cleaned about ten albums with this using a soft glasses cleaning cloth on the end of my index finger and a few drops of D4 dropped on the vinyl. I then moved the index finger covered with cloth around the record from the middle to the outside of the record in a spiral motion from the centre area to the edge. The D4 cleaned each vinyl record using just 2 to 4 drops per side. They look great and perform better after cleaning with this simple method. This is a good product.
