17in Dell UltraSharp 1704FP Black LCD Monitor

I bought this monitor so I can work from home during the plague we find ourselves. I bought it used and cheap (comparatively). But words look grainy the contrast isn't great and it doesn't sync as well as I'd like to my 2019 MacBook Air. It came very well packaged and protective and as advertised does have some bruising and scuff marks which I couldn't care less about. But with such a poor picture quality (resolution?) I think it was a little high for the price. It also says that this is a black monitor and it's actually silver. I could care less about it and some my computer is silver it's actually quite nice. But it was a poor description.Dell has a really bad history of sourcing questionable materials and I believe unethically manufactured. I remembered reading about it in The Story of Stuff. So when I saw this I knew I had to get it and prolong it's life to make it's creation worth it.I would never buy this new. And am kind of annoyed that I ordered this instead of visiting a local pawn shop where I could have tested the "ultra sharp" definition, I would not recommend buying this new or paying extra for shipping if applicable to you.

I ordered this from eAssetSolutions and received great customer service. The monitor is great especially for the price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the first monitor stopped working after a day. The great part is when I called to let them know they sent out a new monitor right away with no hassle. I got it the next day. Buying used it is understandable that some items might have a defect that isn't immediately obvious. This company made good which is all you can ask. I would order from them again.

Beats my old one for picture clarity. Couldn't believe how nice the picture was.

I have no words to describe it. Absolutely awesome. I bought it to replace an older monitor, and the Dell brand has been my best friend

Arrived in great condition

Is bought this monitor to use as a second screen for my laptop. It definitely meets and exceeded my expectations. Multitasking is so much easier now that I have an additional screen. I love that with the usb uplink I also now have additional USB ports thanks to the monitor.

I purchased this for my parents after their old crt monitor failed. It has worked well for them so far.

Works decent for my side monitor.
