Works for 1 gallon Mason Jar when you do this....
I use the one gallon mason jar for my cold brew "toddy". I have a 1 gallon glass dispenser jar with the spout on the bottom and it had a metal lid which started to rust. I needed a replacement and wanted the plastic type that is on the 1 gallon mason jar cold brew set with filter that I purchased here. I ordered this set of 3 lids. First of all the fit perfectly on both my jars. There is a thin lid type liner that is stuck up inside the lid. These are used for the fermentation, which I don't need, and it creates a seal so my dispenser jar would not work with that liner in the lid as no air to make the liquid pour out of the spout. So I removed the liner and keep the lid on, but not too overly tight and my lid and dispenser jar work perfectly. So this is that catch if you need replacement lids for your 1 gallon jars or dispensing jars, take the little liner out of the lids and these will fit and work perfectly on any 1 gallon wide mouth glass mason jar.

No rust as strong plastic.
Smooth opening and closing. Notice not as tight of a seal as metal lids as crackers, etc loose freshness quicker than metal lids.Would buy again however.

Works for fermenting
I am very happy with quality. I cracked one trying to drill an airlock hole with a normal drill bit. Then realized I should use a forstner bit, and drilled perfect holes in all the rest of them.The ones I received have washable closed cell foam liners, and make an air tight seal at the edges and at the airlock grommet. Perfect lids for fermenting wine in one gallon jars with 4" tops. Would probably work nicely for pickles if you installed a vacuum sealer port on it.

Gallon Plastic Lids
Liked the quality of the lids. Unfortunately they did not fit the glass gallon jars that came from pickles. They were too large

Not terribly durable but function (make sure to remove lining inside of lid)
We use Mason jars everyday for storing my son's food and needed something to replace the standard metal lids which rust. While these lids do their job, they are a bit thin. There is also a thin layer of plastic in the cap that was trapping food before I realized that it was there.

They fit.
Bought these to go onto jars of jelly I canned after they were opened up and needed to be refrigerated. I was getting frustrated by my canning bands rusting from the moist refrigerator. I'm happy I bought them.
