I purchased this pest repeller about 3 weeks ago. So far, I have no complaints and is as advertised. I live in an area of Southern California that is surrounded by dry hills and we often have critters like mice, rats, ants, lizards, gophers, etc. However, I have indoor cats, and a 100lb outdoor tortoise. Neither of which I want to be exposed to toxic chemicals. Enter the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller. Since my family and pet safety is a top priority, I love that this has no poison or toxic ingredients as it's all based on ultrasonic (waves? sound?) Because of this factor, I placed one in my kitchen and feel comfortable with the safety being around the food area. Here are some pros and cons of the product: PROS: * Small size makes it easy to place anywhere there is an outlet. (As opposed to a large rodent box in the backyard.) * There are three modes and each light up with a different color to indicate which mode. * No odor or chemicals involved. * Virtually silent. (I am very sensitive to hearing extremely high pitched sounds that others may not hear. I did not hear a single noise on the first two modes, but I DID hear a high pitched sound on the more intense mode. That may go under the "Cons".) * Extremely easy and fool-proof to use - just plug in to a standard outlet. CONS: * As mentioned above, I only heard a high pitch sound on the more intense setting. That won't work for inside the house (for me), but could work just find in an outside shed or in the garage. As you can see, there really are much more pros than cons with this product. I will continue to monitor to see if there is further change to pest control, but as of now, I'm happy and would recommend to others to give this product a try.

Didn’t work. Plugged it in and put it on the medium level and the pest went right next to it. So we put it on the high level and in the video you can hear the past chewing right behind the wall where the Deterrent is plugged in.

I’m very happy with this purchase. I bought it for my kitchen because I was dealing with fruit flies, and after using it, I noticed a big difference. Tengo el paquete de 2. Es muy fácil de usar, solo hay que enchufarlo y empieza a funcionar enseguida, sin necesidad de configuración. También me gusta que tenga 3 modos, y el primero es silencioso, lo que lo hace muy práctico para el uso diario. Es completamente inodoro, lo cual es una gran ventaja para mí, y no utiliza ningún producto químico. También me gusta el diseño porque no se ve feo en el enchufe como otros dispositivos.
