Overall, these should be an aesthetic upgrade to classic plastic just have the accurate expectation about how these are manufactured as they are not a solid aluminum alloy cap, just a painted aluminum cover over a plastic cap. The desertcart listing's third picture points this out, so don't expect an all aluminum single piece cap. Another aspect about these is that they are not anodized but their color appears to be paint. I know this because one of the five in my pack had a paint chip and exposed the base aluminum (see attached review picture). Can't say if this was lack of quality control at the factory or if this happened in shipping - but either way it gives me some question about the long term durability of the paint on these. Overall, these should provide the expected water/dust protection of the valve and they do have a nice appearance. Just have the right expectation about how these are manufactured as a casing with a full plastic liner, not a solid aluminum cap with a rubber seal at the end of it. And that there could be paint wear/chips over time.
