I really like this basic ointment for healing small wounds which can include such things as tattoos or microblading. I am using this on my newly healing tatted brows. It seems to help with scabbing, at least helping to keep them a little softer so they are less crusty and won't "catch" on things such as a collar when dressing or undressing. I love the single tubes, each have more than enough for one round of microblading healing. You get a lot for your money. I did not notice any odor from the ointment even though "fragrance" is listed as one of the ingredients. The ointment is a translucent white and its texture is somewhere between vaseline and a gel. It lays on top of the skin rather than soaking in. It is not as shiny as pure vaseline, so you don't get a terribly greasy look if you use it on your face. I also think this would make a nice stock up for a communal first aid kit as the packets are good for when you don't want to share a tube of ointment with others. I found that once you open the ointment it stays inside the packet without melting out or leaking very easily if you store it flat and undisturbed. I'd still be careful setting it down on a wood surface or something that it could stain. For the price, I feel that it is a good value and comparable in volume to a couple of full tubes of ointment, with a price consistent with generic products. I am probably going to have to give some away as gifts because this is a lot of ointment for one person.
