Beautiful, easy to assemble and wire.

Some Background My mother, who recently passed at the height of Covid, loved crystals with a passion, and seeing this light fixture instantly made me think of her. Living on, and managing, a small multi-dwelling farm in Hawaii, I decided I would find a place on the property for this light in her honor. The manufacturer's pictures were a bit unclear to me, and I wasn't certain exactly what it would look like until it arrived, or what condition it would be in after transiting from LA, however, I was quite pleasantly surprised by what I found upon receiving it. First Impressions When I opened up the package, I was happy to see that this is quite an elegant, beautiful fixture, with the only possible drawback being that it is a decent bit smaller than I had expected. That won't make a difference in lighting, and actually will likely enhance the beauty, as the lights pass through more of the faceted crystal, rather than coming directly from the bulb, but it was of note. Lighting As this lamp dome is clear crystal, It will not reflect upward traveling light like a white or reflective dome would, so the area below the light will be a bit dimmer than with the other styles of lamp domes. This will, on the other hand, increase the amount of light that radiates outward around the room (particularly when mounted low), and the overall dimming effect is not tremendous, so may well be worth the style choice to most people. It is a single E26 base light fixture, so the actual lumens produced will be dependent on your bulb, the same as any other E26 fixture, but if you install something like the hue color changing bulbs, this should provide a lot more fun than just bright lights. Installation The mounting and electrical aspect of the installation should be done by someone familiar with electrical work, and is of fairly equal difficulty regardless of the fixture. The mechanism for securing the dome to the bulb base is solid with what seems like high quality locking rings to secure either side of the glass. The braided cord seems more than sufficient to support the weight of the hanging fixture, and looks and feels impressive to boot. Pricing Price is the one real hedging point for me on this item. At over $50, this is not an inexpensive light fixture, costing more than double the price of others that I've seen. The quality of manufacture does seem to be good, however, and I would argue that this is more an art piece than a light fixture, and with that in mind, $50 begins to seem entirely reasonable. For the materials and craftsmanship needed to create it, I could see it being available for a bit less, but that would rely on taking advantage of foreign manufacturing/materials costs. Would I buy it in the future? All in all, I'm quite happy with this item, and, if I find myself looking for another simple yet elegant fixture in the future, this will be a serious contender. In the face of the labor (even though I do the install, I have to count my time) and other materials involved in a fixture installation, the price of the fixture isn't much proportionally, so if I had another setting which was suitable for it, I would absolutely buy this fixture again.

I decided not to use it. However i can say that it is very pretty and everything was intact when I opened the box.

I am in LOVE with this fixture!! It is so beautiful and is perfect to glam up my bathroom!! The glass is heavy and well made. Thos is the perfect size for a small room such as a bathroom or a closet, although its no so small that even a larger room it would still be pretty.this is an easy install for those who know how to do this. The instructions are OK. Someone who has never installed anything electrial won't be able to learn from the instructions alone, but there are so many great videos online that are super helpful and will teach you how to very easily. My husband had this up in about 15 minutes. The part thay takes time is attaching the pendants. Not hard at all but tedious and some patience. It came woth an extra pendant of each as well as a few spare rings which is a bonus. I recommend this one for sure!! Images are pre install to show size.

Beautiful Vantage Crystal! The brightness was very bright, of course it does determine the bulb bright new you put in there. Extra bonus it is dimmable set up as well! Most of our lights we have switched to dimmable so this is a bonus feature! It have a historic home so the 59" chain works great for the length I wanted but it does allow you to adjust it. he light is smaller which I did not want anything large so it was a perfect size for me. It is a great value with the beautiful crystal glass. It is truly classic elegance!

Oh boy, this was quite the experience! But first, the fixture itself Quality: everything was in great shape when I received it. Perfect finishes on the metal and glass, nothing broken at all. It seems to be a very lovely item with good quality. Style: the style is antique, but new of course, and it even has a working switch above the glass part! The hanging gems are some kind of plastic, but that is okay. This light isn't 100% my style, thus why I put it in my closet. Glamming it up a bit without being in my main area. Installation: this is where I had quite the time. So, I didn't have to drill any holes because I was installing over an area that already had a light fixture there. However, I seemed to do everything in the wrong order and use the wrong stuff at every turn. The directions just aren't great. I've only installed a video doorbell when it comes to electrical work, so this was my first time with a light fixture. It took a lot longer than I wanted, because of instructions being vague and too sparse. But I did it right in the end and it looks good. I just need to paint the ceiling around the top because the old fixture had a bigger base. Value: based on seeing prices of other fixtures, this is a good deal. Other notes: the open light fixture allows for a lot of light to fill the area. It's much brighter than my old bowl fixture. If you were to put this in your kitchen area above an island or in a hallway, you would need several fixtures -- it just isn't very big!!
