Art Advantage FAN-60/321Art Advantage Wood Palette Value-Pack with Free Brushes and Knives (WP1216-VP)

Bought this for my son's 7 year photo session with an artist theme, was quite large for a 7 year old but still perfect for the session & I'm SO happy I was able to find an "old school" palette like this, it really pulled the whole look together! Very durable to regular use, great product, looks great & very classy! I've always wanted one of these as a kid so it was a fun to live through my son as I watched him use it during his photo session. He was also very excited to use it considering he's seen them in several cartoons but had never used one before. So much fun, what a great buy!

This is a great value for the money and the pallet and brushes are very well made. I picked this up to use with acrylic paints for painting 3D printed objects since my printer can only do 1 color at a time. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking to get into painting. Holding this makes me feel a little like Bob Ross and I'm very much okay with that.

For a fucntional palette, this serves it purpose. Nothing more. It is not finsihed off and I caught a few splinters, so be careful with it and polish down the splintered ends before use. The free brushes are a plus, in my books as they are a decent quality; but the knives were okay, but even as a novice, I would spend a little bit of money to buy a quality knife. It will be worth it for practicing. price point: you get what you pay for. Nothing more, which is why I socred it high at the price point.

The wooden palette is nice and probably made out of a kind of soft wood like Balsa but it's easy to hold because of that. Adequate size too; the brushes are not the best but for the money are good enough; and will work out the palette knives are of plastic and so will not be as flexible or metal ones, but still can serve a use; sort of like using plastic knives and forks when the real silverware is in the dishwahser. I was happy to get this.

I gave this palette to my daughter as a gift and she has used it lots. It is light and comfortable to hold. Now that she has "seasoned" it with her oil paints, it is not absorbing much of the paint and is big enough to hold all the colors she is working with at once. A great palette!

The palette itself was decent. Not going to last long. The brushes were less than mediocre and the palette knives were not exactly worse than fast food silver ware, but pretty close to being that quality. I should have just spent a bit more and gotten better quality. In this case the low price wasn't worth it because I'll end up having to buy nicer anyway so it was just a waste of money.

This art set of a palette, brushes, and palette knives is a wonderful set. I gave it to my granddaughter and she loves it! A very good deal, nice quality, etc. for a very reasonable price. I recommend it. I'm an art teacher and may buy more sets for my art students for my workshops this summer.

My granddaughter was doing a report on Claude Monet. She had to stand before her class and give a report about Monet's life. I explained to her that I had been to Monet's home and had seen his gardens, home and burial place, and I thought the palette would be a wonderful prop for her presentation. It arrived in the evening of the same day I ordered it. She mixed colors that Monet used in his paintings on the palette and then gave her presentation. As always, Amazon delivered at a great price. My granddaughter got an A. I love Amazon.

This product is great due to it's size.. I love using it

I bought this for the palette, not the brushes. My mother was coming for a visit and I knew that she’d love the old movie style painter’s palette. I added some Liquitex varnish to it to make it easier to clean off the acrylic paint as it is totally unfinished wood. It’s just fun to use. The brushes, as many say, are really really low quality. However, I ended up cutting the bristles down and having a pretty handy scrubbing brush for clouds and trees. Don’t overlook them because they’re low quality, you can probably still find a use for them. Giving it the full five stars because it was plain old fun and I found a use for the questionable brushes.

Perfect size, lightweight but 2 of the 3 brushes have glued bristles and the one that doesn’t is of really poor quality. But this for the pallet not the extras.

I really love the palette - mixing and cleaning paints on the surface is fun, and the staining makes it look great. Be warned, however, the brushes are very poor quality and the bristles come off with the slightest pressure.
