Everyone says this is the way to do your microgreens and yes maybe it is. My seeds did very well and it was easy but I didn’t like the mess of it. It was far easier for me to buy the mason jars and do my seeds in there.So if you’re a neat freak….I’d pass this up.I used the product instead for chicken bedding:) That worked out fantastic.

These are easy to use to grow microgreens/sprouts. They fit my grow trays and with my smaller grow tray I can easily cut to size with sharp kitchen shears.

I’ve used a different brand of these mats before for growing microgreens with no problem. These however, had a mildew smell to them but I used 2 and mold developed on both mats and contaminated my grow. Had to throw out both mats/microgreens :(

The only thing I don’t like about these mats is the coco hair you end up having to pick out of your Microgreens - I’m hoping this dissipates with use but you definitely have to inspect your food so you don’t get a thick ‘hair’ in your mouth. I like that the mats are thick and fit my trays perfectly. I recommend this product with this caution statement

4 stars because the dimensions were slightly bigger so I had to trim down each one to fit my trays and inconsistent thickness. Some were 3/4 inch, others 1/4 inch

really thick and fibrous. Lots of hole’s for seeds to get lost in. Seeds don’t grow well in this.
